Nokia 5800 xm display is white, but the phone is working, repair men said it cannot be repaired, plz help..........

Software flashing is the only way to fix this problem. so visit mobile repairing shop....or if you want to let me do please reply back.

It will be difficult to start since your screen is not reacting as you expect it to, but it sounds like the calibration is out of whack.

try using setting wizard to configure your gprs setting.hope this'll help.

sound like a software problem, try getting your parrot software upgraded and on phone as well

Unfortunately the 5800 is BB5 device and Symbian S60 5th so there's very little way to unlock it and not for free. The best thing you can do is ring the UK operator (you'll need active UK SIM supplied with phone) and toll them that you're stuck in the country for healthy reasons and want to use local SIM until you'll recover... If this will be accepted then you may be charged £15 ...
