So many different variables could be the issue. Start with the most obvious and try a now power chord/adapter. Could be an issue where the power plugs onto the motherboard. I wouldn't be digging anything past that. If it is, laptops now are a dime a dozen. All your data can be moved. Leave the chipset to all line workers lol.

Hope this helped!

Cheers!

Also could be the battery forgot to add. A lot of the HP tablets I deal with for the company I work with. When the battery is nuked. It says the BATT is 100% and not charging. Second you unplug the device dies.

This is a common error that the laptop is plugged but not charging. The reason could be a faulty charger- there is a chance that charger cable is damaged or maybe it is unable to supply power to the laptop . for more visit - https://www.hpsupporthelpline.com/

The display of my hp 6735s is fainty what can cause it

If you can see a bare outline on your screen it indicates a inverter board problem, "located under the LCD display behind the front bazel" most likely or the backlight behind the LCD screen.

My compaq 6730s is not powering rather, the charging light will blink amper four times

Possible that the charging is bad , check the adapter voltage and the battery voltage. If this is below the threshold level then the PC will not boot up. If the voltages are good , then the memory orr the main board can be a suspect.

my daughters hp 6735s had the fan running all the time issue, having got fed up with this I decided to try to fix it. I downloaded the service manual from the hp website and dismanteld the laptop to remove the motherboard. The fan defuser had some dust but not much, so I removed the heatsink that covers the cpu and gpu. I noticed the cpu did have thermal compound that was in contact with the heatsink, however the gpu had compound on the chip but nothing touching the heatsink. I cleaned the heatsink, cpu and gpu with degreaser, then applied new silver themal compound from maplin. I made sure i also applied a thin coating to the heatsink. I refitted the heatsink and reassembled the laptop. I powered on the laptop and instantly noticed the laptop fan running at half speed which it should do, I installed a program from a dvd and left the laptop running and so far so good. If we had left this any longer I suspect the solder under the gpu would have become molten and then we could have had another issue which maybe we could not have fixed. I hope this helps you if you have similar issues.

Compaq 6735s notebook pc goes to HP screen, but wont boot

Hi,

First you need to determine how many blinks you are getting when you try to power on the laptop.
Check the blinking codes below and reason behind that for HP Compaq laptops

Blinking battery power LED Battery Insufficient charge on the battery
Blink: 1 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - CPU CPU not functional
Blink: 2 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - BIOS BIOS corruption failure
Blink: 3 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - Memory Module error not functional
Blink: 4 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - Graphics Graphics controller not functional
Blink: 5 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - System board General system board failure
Blink: 6 - Caps Lock/Num Lock - BIOS BIOS authentication failure

Plz get back so I can suggest you the steps to resolve the issue.

My hp compaq 6735s laptop wont charge

It could be a couple things. Either your battery is not accepting a charge, or your charger is not charging or the worst is the port on your laptop's motherboard is bad.

This sounds like *********** board is overheating due to probably dust and fan not working properly. Try using air can to blow some of the stuff of off the fan from the bottom of the laptop but make sure you dont tip the can over while doing this because the air turns in to ice and it will mess up you laptop. If just blowing air don't work then you have to open it and clean it up.Hope this helps.

HP Compaq 6735s battery light orange blinking

Have you tried another power cord? If you try another power cord, and it still does the same thing, then I think your laptop is having a power problem. You need to take is to a technician to fix the problem for you.

Best wishes.
