My micrwave oven continues to run after I shut it off

The magnetron is faulty causing the loud noise.

Take the cover off. Make sure you unplug it. You will see the fuse close to where the wire goes in. Replace and but back together.

You directed this question at me, but unfortunately this isn't my expertise and I am unable to provide you with a real solution at this time.

Hopefully one of other experts will be able to provide you with a real solution.

If you press clock and nothing happens your keypad has shorted out and needs to be replaced. Try to unplug the unit one more time and try to turn the unit on again. If you have the same problem replace the control panel.

Possible that the magnetron is heating beyond the limit. please do not swittch on without any source of conduction to cook or heat. Do the dry test with a cup of water and never run it dry.
If the cup heats then the micrwave is fine. if there is heating in the cabin remove and refit the magnetron.If not it can be deffective due to insulation failure.

vent my gas oven to the outside

something wrong with electrical connection or the magnetron is defective. try switching to high. if it persists replace magnetron.

Does it still work? If so, it may just be heat or the tray making noise. If it doesn't work, then there may be a bad capacitor or resistor

The light gets its power on a different circuit, The fuse that runs the micro/w may be blown out. this is a easy fix at home if you think, you can take out a few screws let me know. I will walke you through it. Ok
