To access the setup menu on a Motorola DCX700 cable box, you will need to press the "Menu" button on your remote control and then use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Settings" or "Setup" menu. Depending on the specific model of your cable box and the version of the firmware it is running, the exact steps for accessing the setup menu may vary.
If you are having trouble accessing the setup menu on your Motorola DCX700 cable box, you may want to try the following:
Check the user manual or documentation for your specific model of the cable box to see if there are any specific instructions for accessing the setup menu.
Make sure that you are pressing the correct button on your remote control. The "Menu" button is usually located near the center of the remote and may be labeled with the word "Menu" or with a symbol that looks like a hamburger.
If you are using a universal remote control, make sure that it is programmed to work with your cable box. You may need to refer to the manual for your universal remote to find out how to program it to work with your cable box.
If you are still having trouble accessing the setup menu, you may want to try resetting your cable box to its default settings. To do this, you will need to unplug the power cord from the back of the cable box and then plug it back in. This should reset the cable box to its default settings and allow you to access the setup menu.
We used a One4All model URC3021BOO remote.
We programmed BOTH the TV function and the DVD/vcr button with code 0807.
To access the menu PRESS TV then MENU button then DVD/VCR button will allow you to change menu functions using left and right and select buttons.
*TV button will access Menu screen BUT NO menu functions.
* DVD/VCR button will NOT access menu screen but WILL control menu functions if menu is already displayed.
May work with other sharp products, or other universal remotes?
These original (RRMCG1330PESA) remotes run 38.00+ to buy new so try this FIRST!
Hi Susan,
There is a menu button in almost every tv's touch panel. Please press it to access the menu.
Unfortunately if your TV does not have a menu button, there is no way you can access the menu without a remote control.
o enter your unlock code, LG phones often require access to a hidden
menu first. To access this menu simply enter the digits 2 9 4 5 # * 7 1 0
0 1 #.
1. Insert an original SIM card and turn the phone on
2. Access the hidden menu by typing 2 9 4 5 # * 7 1 0 0 1 #
3. Select 'Menu' and then 'Settings'
4. Next, select 'Security'
5. Select 'Network Provider' and 'Deactivate'
6. Finally enter the Unlocking Code provided.
(Please note: Some phones require a slightly different access
code - please see the list below if the above access code doesn't work
for your phone.)
Commands displayed in the start menu that have arrows on the right
indicate that a submenu is available for a command. A submenu is a
second-level menu.
Ex. "My Recent Documents" usually will
have an arrow to the right of it. When you access your recent
documents, you are actually accessing a submenu.
Let the unit complete it's self test mode. When "select product ready for use" is displayed then you press the menu button to access the menu function.
on some sets you can push both the channel up and down buttons to access the menu, then use them and the volume buttons to navigate the menu. otherwise you may have to get a programmable remote control.
