My screen says 'internal memory is full' I have only taken about 50 pictures. I then bought a new memory card but after 3 pictures the same message comes on screen.

You need to look at your image storage settings. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Image Storage"; is it set to "auto" or "internal"?

If it's set to "Auto" then there's some reason that it's not recognising your memory card. You should format it. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Format" and then select the memory card.

If it's set to "Internal" then you need to set it to "Auto". Then it will use the memory card if it's inserted. (Take the card out to access the photos in Internal Memory.)

To get the card to work, you must erase the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. After that, the card should work properly.

It keeps saying memory card is full. Bought a new memory card and put in and it still says the card is full.

Are you sure that isn't "internal" memory card is full message?

Sometimes, when "internal memory card is full" there is no more space in the camera's internal memory. Your camera has 16 MB of internal memory. The number of pictures you can store depends on the picture size setting you have selected on your camera. Keep in mind that the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is installed (auto default).

If really, the problem is in the "SD memory card", I suggest make some backup all files and reformat the SD. Try formatting it in the camera, there should be a process in your owners manual for doing this; donw formatted SD in your computer, isn't good.

Hope helps.

Try these: 1. Go into the camera menu and find "reset" and follow the on-screen instructions. 2. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. Insert your new, blank memory card and do the "format" thing again.

If you have a memory card in the camera and pictures on the camera's internal memory, the memory card won't work until you get rid of the internal memory's pictures. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Now your card should work properly.

If you just deleted the pics from the internal memory, it may still give the full message. Try formatting it while your card is out of the camera.

I put a new memory card in our Kodak EasyShare

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 1 GB)
The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.

You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
1: Menu 2: Cam settings 3: Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

Internal Memory is Full

Go into review, and then menu. Go to image storage and then set "auto" or memory card. You may have it set to store your images in the internal memory.
