If the touch screen of the Camcorder is not working, please follow the troubleshooting steps.

Please make sure that you're using fully charged batteries.

Turn off the Camcorder and turn ON again and check the operation.

Try resetting the Camcorder by pressing the reset button behind the LCD panel.

Note: 8 represents the reset button on the above figure.

If the issue persists again, please perform LCD screen Calibration and check if that helps.

Please follow the steps below to perform the LCD Calibration

Perform a power resetting of the Camcorder. To perform power resetting, please remove the battery pack, turn the Power switch to Play/EDIT/ON for more than 15 seconds, turn the Power switch to OFF position and then reinsert the battery pack.

If the issue persists even after performing all the above-mentioned steps, service is required.

I hope this information will help you to resolve the touch screen issue of the Camcorder.

Gerrard AT6 Radiogram. I have inherited my parents old record player/radio. I have plugged it in & the radio works but any records I play the sound doesn't come through the speakers you can hear...

It could be that the wires to the cartridge are off, or that the cartridge is faulty. If you touch two of the 4 wires to the cartridge (when removed) with you finger and the amp on you should hear a buzz on either channel (assuming it's a stereo deck). If you do that's a sign the cartridge has gone. If you don't there's something wrong with the pre-amp in the main part.

Sony DCR-TRV510 Playback Blank or Choppy

I recently had similar problem. Sony Phone tech support was very helpful. The answers were strange. You need to make sure the cameral is turned off, unpluged and take the battery out for at least 5 minutes. (something to do with reseting firmware). That sort of worked when coupled with there last comment which was to RECORD about 15 seconds and play it back. Mine was instantly healed!

Playback difficulties

Not specific enough but I would run a head cleaner thru it for 10 seconds and see if that improves things and always use the same brand of tape to prevent gum issues.

All of a sudden some of my tapes will not playback and others will??

I have been experiencing the same problem with my Panasonic PV-GS120. I don't know the root cause or real solution, but I found if I keep playing the tape, rewind->play->rewind->play, eventually I would get the image back normal. I think I would try to clean up header with a header cleaner to see if it helps or not. If not, I plan to submit a request to Panasonic support to check out possible solution. Good luck.
