Dont know the parental control PIN - Video Game Consoles & Games

1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
2. Select the right arrow twice to reach the third page, then select "Parental Controls."
3. Select "Yes," to change the parental controls.
4. You will be prompted for your 4-digit PIN.
   • If you know the PIN, select the empty text box and enter the PIN using the on-screen keyboard, then select "OK" to continue.
   • If you don't know the PIN, select "I forgot," then select the empty text box for the answer to the secret question and enter it using the on-screen keyboard. Select "OK" to continue.
   • If you don't know either the PIN or the secret question, the Parental Controls will need to be reset. Please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.
5. Select "Clear Settings," then select "Yes" to confirm.

If you don't know your parental control code, then you need a little work around to disable it. Go to the system settings and find the parental controls option. Try to change the settings, and when it asks you for the PIN, hit the "I Forgot" button. On the next screen, say "I Forgot" again.

There will be a number at the bottom of the next screen. This is a confirmation number. Take that number, and enter it into this website: http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi . It's a handy utility will take your confirmation number and the day's date and give you back the reset code. You should be able to change or disable the controls after entering the code. Good luck!

You're going to have to call nintendo to remove the parental controls. They will give you a special code to remove the parental controls.

An Enquiry Number will be displayed. Ring the number given in the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual and provide the Enquiry Number. You will then be issued with a Master Key. Tap "OK" and enter the Master Key. Tap "OK".

1. Turn on your Wii console and go into the Wii Options Menu
2. Click on Wii Settings and click the right arrow until you see “Parental Controls”
3. Say “Yes” to “Change Parental Controls?”
4. Click on “I forgot” when it asks you to enter your pin
5. It will ask you for your secret question, click on “I forgot” again
6. The screen will read “If you have forgotten both your PIN and secret question, call the consumer service number listed in the Wii Operations Manual and provide the confirmation number below. You will be issued a master key.”
7. Call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 and give them the confirmation code listed on the screen. They will give you a new Master key to enter on the next screen.
8. The PIN is now reset/disabled

thanks my daughter solved the problem to unlock parental lock or parental pin number she tried four zero digets 0000 no success then she put in four numbers one 1111 and it unlocked the parental lock .hope it can maybe help someone - margaret
