My Panasonic KX-TG5576 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone, I have it charged. The base phone is working fine. But when I try to use the cordless hand phone and try to use it,m it says: No link to the base, move closer to the base, and try again. I am sitting RIGHT NEXT to the base. What can possibly be wrong??? HELP!

Set the phone on the charging cradle and press the ON button while phone is in crade. You may need to use the speakerphone button to do this. Turning the phone on while in the charging cradle will resync your handset with its base. Try it! It should work!

Problems with handsets
Are they cordless phones?If they are they get there dial tone from the base.If there is a blinking red light on the hand sets they lost communication with the base.Check your user manual to see if you need to program them to the base.
