There is a delay with the sound I play it but the green light is,nt in sync the same time I play its a little bit delayed.

This may sound stupid, but you don't have like a slap back delay turned on by mistake, do you? Other than that, I'm afraid I'm not much help.

Can't find a manual but can still explain. Delays, chorus, flangers, and reverbs are all the same effect except the different names of them will allow you different adjustments. Chorus usually has a width control which controls pitch shifting. Flangers and delays will have a feedback control which simply means, how many times you hear the echo. On reverb units, room size means how long of echo(even though it;s short) you want. Delay is the same with much longer echo, feedback is the same as on flangers except the flangers time is very short meaning the effect is at almost the exact time resulting in feedback causing a metalic sound. I probaly just confused you but good digital delays usually have all the features and will usually do all 4 effects depending on how you set them. If you want delay, set width on 0 and adjust time and feedback. For flanging, adjust width and speed and feedback. Chorusing, adjust time, width, and speed. Reverb, adjust time, set width on 0, and feedback. I see it has a level(mixture, how much effect you hear), and a replay(feedback, how many times you hear it), and a delay knob,(how long the echo will be) The range/mode switch allows for settings of diferent time lengths and INF setting allows for infinite repeat. A very slight delay would be normal as it takes the pedal electronics time to acquire and creae the second harmonic. The ear is sensitive to about 1/1000 second. You haven't said how much delay it is causing... If it is over 1/20 of a second there is a problem.

Without the configuration you are using we have little to go on. How is the system wired? Are you saying when you run instruments AND mics into this then record they do not play back together? If the instruments are MIDI types and you play back along with the vocals I would expect the MIDI instruments to be delayed a little as it takes time to transmit the note info at 31.25Kb... It takes about 1/3000 second for EACH MIDI character and note messages take three of those for a total of about 1 ms. One millisecond IS noticeable by the ear... and if you have several instruments it may take several milliseconds to service all the instruments. If you are recording ANALOG instruments the delay should be imperceptible.

Check your power source or battery. The sound is probably due to the internal processor recycling due to watchdog timer. If power is OK, then service will be necessary to repair the problem.

Typically ONLY one effect will be active at a time unless there is a specific mixed effect available. The gain levels between the different effects are often not too consistent. In summation, this is probably the nature of the beast.

i guess the switch is broken - if you are not experienced fixing those problems better bring it to a shop and tell them about the problem - i guess they will be able to fix it easily

This is a common problem with digital recording. Simply put, it takes some time to convert analog (audio) to digital and then more time to convert it back. So, your playback track goes through conversion and introduces some delay. You don't hear this because you have no zero reference. Your recorded sound goes through the A/D converter and also incurs some delay. When you play them back together, you hear the difference in time from one track to another. Most pro recording programs have some method to minimize or cancel the delay like slipping the tracks so they all start together. Pro Tools just introduced a version that automatically does this. They have always had what it called "low latency" monitoring which attempts to keep the "shortest" digital/analog path so overdubs are close enough that we don't hear any issues. So, since you talk about the mixer but not the recording program, I can't tell you specifics but I'd look into the recording program for time alignment settings and options. If you have a manual for the recording program, try to look up latency.

If this is used to generate sounds using your computer, the problem is most certainly in your computer software. Common causes are antivirus and blockers that insist upon processing every bit of data including that from devices like this. The delay to do so is unacceptable as these anti things use mass amount of computer resources. Also if you have a wireless internet link active, that sucks processing time... Turn all of these computer resource "hogs" off and see if the problem goes away...

Usually delay is associated with "reverb" not echo. If you are in a large room, the room acoustics can add reverb without the benefit of signal processing.

Reverb NORMALLY passes the inout signal as is and then adds in a delayed version on top.

The delay should be less than the room size delay.

Try turning off all effects as a start. There is some "transport" time if it goes through a digital signal processing.
