I'm trying to turn my droid incredible on and it keeps looping the white HTC screen and the red droid eye thing. I tried holding down the volume and the power button but it still happens. I have also tried removing my battery and restarting it and factory restarting it. Also have removed the battery and held down the joice stick and the power button and that doesn't work either it still keeps looping.

1. Turn the phone off, or pull the battery if the system is unresponsive.
2. While powering on the phone hold the volume down button along with the power button.
3. It should boot to the bootloader(white background and black text) I don't remember exactly what number the option is for factory reset but it will be in the list(either factory reset or reset phone) use the Vol +/- keys to navigate up/down the list and use the power key to select.

your phone is not supported 32gb memory card that's why your phone is totally hang so if u want to fix it you have to update your software and go to a service station

4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button to select
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC DROID Incredible. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

same problem, no sound on htc incredible 2, in service about one year, all of a sudden no sound, tried factory reset, no help. goodbye htc, hello samsung.

You need to do a Factory reset:
1. At you Home Screen, press the Menu button then tap "Settings."
2. Scroll down to "Privacy" and select it.
3. Now tap "Factory data reset."

While Powered Off:

I finally had to have them replace the unit. If doing a factory reset does not help, then I would have them replace it. Mine started rebooting infrequently, but then started doing it more often. They didn't waist any time getting my replacement out.
Please make sure you back up all your contacts/email before proceeding. I use Google on my phone through the Outlook option. Google/Outlook syncs all my mail, contacts, and calendar.
RESET: Software: SETTINGS > ABOUT > RESET YOUR PHONE
Hardware: 1) Turn off phone 2) While holding down both the Up/Down Volume buttons, turn unit on 3) Keep holding down the volume buttons until white screen appears 4) Press the Down Volume button to reset to factory defaults. 5) Restart phone

factory reset using phone buttons If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using buttons on the phone.

1. With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
2. While holding the volume buttons, press the END/POWER button briefly and then release it.
3. When you see a warning message on screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Try to update to the latest android version. Your carrier might help you with this because it is so new.
