Laptop doesnt display anything

It could be a problem with your hardware or windows installation. Try reinstalling windows for starters ,if that doesnt help take it to the repair shop.

Its a problem with your display card. Replace the display card.

that means you computer is really mess.I suggest you take it to the tech department for diagnostics or send it back for a new one.

Have you left a cd in drive? It could be trying to read a disk to boot from if thats how your boot order is set up. This is the first simplest thing to check.

ok i got it as u said that u can hear the fan and it powers up but u cannot see anything on the screen iin that case what u can do is that disconnect the ac adaptor and then take the battery out of the computer and then without the power cord and the battery press and hold down the power buttoon for one minute and then connect the adaptor and the battery and the try and turn on the computer and then still if u do nnot see anything on the screen then turn on the computer and then connect the external monitor and if u see the display on external monitor then the lcd screen has gone bad and if u do not see the display oon the external monitor also then the video card of ur laptop has gone bad replace it ....good luck
or what u can try is that try lkgc (last known good configuration) and then try and boot the computer or try in safe mode....good luck

sounds like the mother board is failed..try one more thing..remove battery, run on power supply only, and see if that helps..otherwise, it's motherboard replacement time.

That is either a faulty ribbon cable to LCD display, or a defective lcd display itself.

In both cases tha computer must be taken apart and part replaced to fix the fault.

Parts are commonly found on Ebay, or can be ordered from toshiba.

First try an external screen to see if your operating system is loading , if it does get a flashlight point it on the screen and check if you see a faint image , if you do it must be a bad FL inverter and if not a bad LCD, try calling toshiba tech 18004577777 to check your warranty if you still have warranty send it for repair.

Can you plug the laptop up to an external monitor and keyboard, and test it that way?

Is it possible that the laptop is currently set to use the external monitor instead of the default one?
