I have a Honeywell te657w weather station. The display is so weak it can hardly be seen in the daylight. Is there any way to brighten it?

The problem might be very hard to repair if those led lights are SMT (surface mount technology) those diodes could be as small as this print. The case may be compression fit.

I did a search and could not find anything on that particular model. But I found some things that may help.

You need to set up the correct time zone offset. For example, CST is -6; EST is -5. If daylight savings is active, time will be: CDT = -5; EDT = -4.

CST = Central Standard Time
EST = Eastern Standard Time
CDT = Central Daylight Time
and so on.

This problem could arise due to various reasons
1)Replace the batteries in remote sensors
When the batteries are properly installed, the remote weather sensor will resume sending signals to the main unit.To enforce an immediate remote signals search, press and hold
DOWN on the main unit.

2)Remote thermo-hygrometer sensor could be weak in sending the signal about weather Forecast.Test it properly.

3)Reset the unit and check
