Aquos 46" getting multiple lines when using AV cables
Criminy! This is amongst it's several fatal flaws. I strongly suggest that you RUN, DO NOT WALK-- back to where you purchased it, and get your money back. Then, coffee in hand, sift through a few "Consumer Report" type ezines & find a better model to own!
Same problem, the popping sound just started a couple of months ago and now no sound. I always purchased SONY tubes and went with SHARP for LCD... I'll definitely be going back to SONY. In the meantime, I've connected the TV to a components system- what a pain.
Ours went out a few months ago, so now our sound has to be run through a stereo. It's a pain to have to use 2 different remotes! Ours is the LC-37D4U though. $1800 for a TV that was fully functional for only 2 years. We'll never buy another Sharp!
I have the same problem, sound board fried on my 42" Sharp Aquos. Just spent $101 to have a tv repair tell me this and Sharp refuses to recall the tv. So annoyed and the tv is 24 months old!!!!!
We now hooked it thru our stereo to hear the tv!!!!!!
We have owned our Sharp Aquos model # LC46D92U television since 10/13/07. Yesterday (1/17/08) the sound went out completely on the t.v. To have spent $2,500 on a t.v. only to have it develop a problem 3 months after the 12-month warranty expired is quite disappointing, especially since the picture on this t.v. is excellent. The "popping" sound described in so many similar posts occured every so often over the past few months. However, yesterday the sound went out entirely. This does appear to be a recall issue in the making given the common theme. Any suggestions are welcome on how to best go about getting this fixed at Sharp's expense, and not consumers such as ourselves.
Our Aquos sound just went out also and we bought it in Sept 07'. It would come back when we would reset the factory settings to original, but that doesn't work anymore. This really sucks considering the TV is still practically new!
just lost all sound on my 46" aquos. still have a few months on warranty. hope they fix soon without more hassle. up till now i loved the tv.
