Yes they'll tell you which devices need an updated driver but then require you to pay for the new driver. click start control panel system and security scroll to sytem tab you will see device manager scroll down cd dvdrom drives if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark? ! or a red x right click

you will need to update the driver or
select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver

Install it and run it when you are online
Go and click the missing drives(don't need to register)
Go to device information and Identify the driver model (or log all the info in your next reply)
