SOURCE: camera feature not supported E71
Hello AEdris.
From my research I have not found any issues with that software release that
should cause this problem as of yet. There are a few things that could be the
cause.
1. The
Firmware of the phone has become corrupt.
2. The
feature was disabled for that region release. I know this one sounds odd but it
has been done before.
3. The
camera connectors are loose or broken.
I would suggest first trying to use the Nokia Software
Updater to reload the software on the device. Visit the Nokia site for your
region and then go to the “Support & Software” Section. You will find a
link for the Nokia Software updater there. Follow all of the instructions.
If this does not resolve, then number 2 would require a
little more research than I am able to do right at this moment, but will keep
my eyes and ears open.
If the camera connectors are loose or broken, when the app tries
to access you could get this error as a basic “General Error”. You can check
out your repair options also on the Nokia Site for your region.
I know it may seem as thought I have left you with more
possible unanswered questions. However, this is what I have found thus far. I
do hope that the Nokia Software Updater resolves your issue. Please post back
and let myself and the other users know if the above solution(s) got you taken
care of.

There is something wrong with your Adobe as I too am using Nokia E71 and I just tried to read the User Guide, which is in PDF format of 172 pages. I could read till the last page. No probs. Must have got corrupted. Try again and if the prob persists then update the firmware. Quick Office and Adobe reader can not be installed seperately. Read the instructions carefully on Nokia site and carry them out to the letter.

this is a common hardware issue with Nokia. sometimes it will start working again by itself.
there is nothing that can be done apart from taking the phone back to Nokia.
