Reset the time by 12 hours. Just wind the hands to the right time but only go around once not twice. So for example it's 5 pm now. Wind the hands around again to go to 5 again. It should do the trick.

The date on my Tissot PRC 100 changes either 1/2 day early or 1/2 day late. How can it be set so that the date changes at 12:00 am?

Your watch is 12 hours out, as it "thinks" that midnight is midday.

The solution is to wind your watch forward 12 hours and then the date will change at midnight.

Hi, My watch is changing date at 12 noon instead

Your watch is 12 hours out of step. (The date changes every second revolution of the hour hand.)

Wind your watch forward 12 hours, (you may have to reset the date) and it will then change around midnight.

My watch keeps changing the date at 12:00 noon to the next day. How to I get it to go back to changing the date at midnight? Thanks.

I haven't been able to find your watch on their web site but it sounds as though your watch is a mechanical (automatic?), if this is the case.....

The watch thinks it is midnight at midday, so wind the watch forward 12 hours.

Day date changes midday 12:00 PM, not midnight 12:00 AM. How to change this?

Your watch thinks your noon is midnight.

Wind the hands forward 12 hours and the date change will be at midnight. You will have to re-set the date if it gains a day when doing this.

I just bought a new watch and am having with the calendar

Hi,

Check that you have set the time at the correct AM or PM setting. If this setting is wrong it may appear that the date is changing in 12 hours because it sees 12 midday as 12 midnight.

If this resolves the issue please do take a moment to rate my answer. If not please use 'Add comment' or 'Continue with this Expert' to post up the details. I will be happy to respond.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Wind the arms around one more time because a analog watch clicks like a clock. Hope this helps out.

My longines watch changes date at midday. Help

You have the watch set so that midnight is showing as noon. Advance the watch 12 hours and then reset the date to the proper setting.
