This is most likely caused by a damaged or misaligned video drum and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

When replaying recorded programmes, it all cracks up sound and picture

sounds like maybe your computer needs more memory check on how much you have through control panel then system and that panel will show how much is installed and maximum available

How do i fix a fuzzy picture on dvd recorder play back

What is the resolution of the recorder? If it isn't Hi definition, then you'll never get a really clear picture. OK for older TV's but not Hi Def. You can get a 2 position A/B switch and connect the audio and video OUTputs of the cable box to one side of the switch and the other side to the AV out on the TV.

Sony Handycam CCD-TRV58 Hi-8 won't display picture.

This sounds like the LCD and CCT in the Lens is dead, not a cheap repair if this is the case, pop it to a camera shop like Jessops.

Dropped Olympus SP-310 in water for 2 seconds. After drying out everything works except for a dark LCD when attempting to take a picture. Focus green light flashes and shutter will work, but no picture is...

If your device gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.

1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

My Quasar VM-L143-C Camcorder screen turns black

if the camera records the video it will be there in the memory of it and you can check it by connecting it with a computer.if the video is in the memory there will be no problem with the recording device and the problem will be only to the LCD screen .if it is so, replace it with a new one which cost you about 35$-40$.if the settings are not correct the above problem will occur.so check the settings first and then go for the replacement of LCD .check whether the color of the LCD screen is in the correct level(check the brightness,contrast....)thank you.

Cant take any pictures

the Shutter or some assicated components is shattered. This may be a repair situation at Nikon- but if you have had the camera for some time I suspect you will be buying another camera.
