On my Thetford Aqua Magic Style Lite toilet, the foot pedal is normally depressed halfway to allow water flow, then pushed all the way to flush. Now, as soon as you depress the foot pedal at all, the ball opens to flush. I have found nothing regarding this in the manuals or troubleshooting section. Any ideas. Thanks.

the reason you are getting sewer gases are the wax seal under the toilet is not making proper contact with the bowl and flange....pull the toilet and replace the wax seal...buy a cant leak seal from lowes...may want to buy new bolts to reinstall...they sell plastic ones that you can cut easy after you tighten...make sure to shim the toilet if it moves...use toilet shims...also at lowes...this is why this happened to start with...it was not done right to start ...after all that caulk or grout bowl to floor...now you have a pro install...

this is caused by a bad trap in toilet....replace with new one....good luck..

I saw the other answers and what are they talking about. thetford is a rv toilet the two bottem pedals are control by cable one cable broke You just have to get pedal repair kit pull toilet out and repair I have a repair kit coming as we speak exact same problem

Your macerator has likely failed, unfortunately. There is a fellow Mobile RV tech (RV Medic) in Springfield, I am pretty sure he services Branson as well. Perhaps they will be able to get you fixed up.
