^^^^^ these are the instructions for the remote that has the code search button in the top left corner....


If yours has the mute button there instead this is what i do with mine. Turn on your tv. hold the tv button down till it stays lit up then release it. next push the power button and release it the red light will blink if your tv turns off push the tv button again and the red light will turn off. then push the power button and your tv should turn back on.

If your tv did not turn off continue to slowly push the tv button after each blink until the tv turns off.

If you need a vcr, dvd, etc. programed follow the instructions for the tv.
