You could try downloading "hirens boot cd" and then burn it on your own cd using Power Iso or something similar. When you boot from this cd you will have the option to remove the bios password.

disconnect the CMOS battery or set the reset jumper to reset, with the primary laptop battery removed, and the ac adapter disconnected, hold the power button for 30 seconds to a minute, then re-assemble and reset jumper settings and power the laptop on, there is no OEM backdoor password for acer computers

You didn't mention what BIOS you have..(re: pheonix or ami or Award) so you can try "BIOS" or "CMOS" or "ACER" or "PASSWORD" or you can remove the CMOS batttery for a few minutes
By default Acer wont enter any BIOS password however, if you have forgot BIOS password then you have to reset CMOS jumper setting. Please follow the below steps: Open the Laptop back panel. Locate the CMOS battrey, remove it & then with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off (make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battrey & restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.
pull out the cmos battery as well as the battery, and leave it for 3 minutes. then put the reg. battery back in and boot it up. it should say password disabled. Turn it off and put the cmos battery back in, it should work now. leave positive feedback!
Hi the only possible way to reset the password in the BIOS is to reset the CMOS battery. It is located in one of the panel below the sys (you must have proper expertise to do this) towards the right hand side. The battery is set on a jumper You first need to disconnect all power source i.e adaptor and battery. than remove the panels to try and locate the CMOS Battery. Remember not to tuch anything else or connect any of the cables any where else it may cause a problem for the sys and you. Once the CMOS battery is reset the BIOS password will have gone.
