Hi,washing machine not emptying properly on spin cycle.Water comesout through fabric conditioner draw. Have disconnected hose (not kinked ) Water only trickles out slowly. If hose left in bucket the water drains outvery gradually & slowly. Is the outlet hose blocked,or is it a pump fault ? Thanks

SOURCE: Fabric conditioner still in draw after wash cycle

This is usually a matter of pulling the drawer right out (it is designed to let you do this) and taking it to bits (it's designed for this too). Most front-loaders have a bit of a design weakness in that the bit that gets blocked with conditioner isn't immediately obvious without a little bit of prior dismantling. Once you get the top off the drawer, you'll almost certainly find the siphon tube gummed up with old conditioner. Clean this up under a hot tap, then reassemble and all should be well. A.

SOURCE: Machine stops in Rinse & Spin Cycle & leaks water

suspect problem is that water is not draining fast enough so when machine gets to spin there is too much water present which gets thrown up thro thew soap drawer. check the filter. on many hotpoint filter is not obvious. at back, take off bottom panel. you will see a large dia hose going from bottom of machine to pump. undo this hose at the tub end and the filter is inside it. be carefull. if you havn\'t managed to drain, a lot of water will come out. if this doesn\'t work, get back to me if you want

SOURCE: Bosch classix 1000 express fabric conditioner won't empty

Get a piece of stiff wire, and make a right angled bend at the end of it, then poke it in all the holes on the top of the soap drawer compartment, this should solve your prob.
Please rate my solution.,
Thanks.

Conditioner is staying in draw when water should be feeding into draw at end of cycle it is going into both other draws but not the conditiner one any ideas

Hi, welcome to Fixya. Immediately what comes to mind, actually two things. Fabric softner can often be too thick to dispense properly in front load dispenser's unless deluted half & half with water before adding. The other thing is this, it could be the water inlet hoses connected backwards, i.e. Hot going to cold and cold to hot at the washer, hence in the rinse cycle when cold water should enter the fabric softner chamber it doean't. Let me know what you find as I will look for your reply. Thanks for visitng "fixya". Please take a moment and rate this info accordingly but also let me know if you need further assistance. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Zanussi ZWD1470W fabric conditioner compartment won't drain

fabric conditioner is dispensed during rinse cycle, if it does not work then either, try pouring hot water into dispenser, as conditioner tends to get goopie when dry, thus may have clogged up

Fabric conditioner compartment doesnt empty properly. Ive tried cleaning out drawer but still no luck.

If you can remove the dispenser from the machine try soaking it in HOT water. The fabric softeners can cause a wax like build up that can clog the dispenser. If the dispenser will not come out of the machine then pour Hot water into it, cycle the machine and repeat. It took a long time to clog and will take a while to remove the clog(several cycles). This will work but will take time. Mix water with your softener to keep it from cloging again, it will thin the softener and stop the build up. If you add 50/50 water/conditioner shake well and use twice the normal amount so you are getting the full amount of softener/conditioner into the washer. This will help i had a similar problem with my front loading washer.

Maytag Washing Machine

The detergent dispenser is located above the detergent drawer. A water pipe is connected to it and water entrance and distributed to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle) by a lever's movement (part of the dispenser). The lever movement is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer. By opening upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser. Disconnect the power cable from the machine before moving to next test !!!! Look first that they are not any disconnected wires. Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movement). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit). In case it works properly (manually) - you should test by a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced. Good luck !!
