Was your scooter paid for by Medicare/Insurance?
What part of the country do you live in?
What year did you get the scooter? (should be listed with the serial number)
I would be happy to assist you, used to have a company that sold these and can troubleshoot it with you and find you someone to come to you and fix any problems you're having.

The go go controller has a controller which will give you a specific beep code to indicate the problem with your scooter. From what you are describing, it seems that the throttle potentiometer is out of neutral at start-up. The controller needs to electrically sense the throttle pot is in neutral (center of left and right) to start. By turning the scooter on and off you are jiggling the pot enough to get it to zero out(go to neutral).
Please get back to me with the exact model of the go go and with the exact number of beeps in the error code and I will be able to diagnose the problem in a more definitive way.
The most common error codes involve the throttle pot out of neutral at start-up and the brake freewheel lever is in freewheel.
You can see if the throttle pot is out of neutral by moving it slightly in either direction with one hand and turning the scooter off and on with the other hand. If the scooter works by this slight adjustment of the pot, then this part needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Can you leave GoGo scooter batteries plugged in four three months

Do you mean a charger plugged in for four months ? or the battery pack on the scooter for four months ? if it not charging and left on the scooter they will discharge and may never recover.

Leaving it on charge for four months ?, the charger will go into trickle charge mode once it fully charged the batteries, manufacturers will agree this is a good thing , if left for weeks and weeks , it should be charged up fully once a week if not in use and i recommend removing the battery case as i seen issues arise from leaving a battery pack on a scooter for long periods of time, for starters they discharge quicker,.

My Go-Go scooter when I put the lever and drive and I turn the key on and I hit the switch forward or reverse it will not move and does not beep either

Scooter won't move when I press the throttle lever?
  • When the manual freewheel lever is pushed forward, the brakes are disengaged and all power to the motor/transaxle assembly is cut.
  • Pull back on the manual freewheel lever, turn the Travel Scooter off, and then back on to return to normal operation.

Battries fully charged, turn key on and only beeps 5 times. Thats all.

hi Hal, that is a issue around based the brake or connectors to the brake or the micro-switch that is moved when you move the drive , freewheel lever.. ... firstly make sure the scooter is in drive mode and not free-wheel mode ., where the axle comes apart you will see a number of connectors , make sure they are a good fit ...

Update me please...

My gogo ultra is showing fully charged and horn beeps, when i put key in it beeps fast 10 times and 5 beeps after

5 beeps usually means scooter is out of gear, but since the lever is in the drive position and the scooter gearbox/differential is engaged, it seems that the controller is not sensing the gear change. Possibly a faulty micro switch in the motor housing can be the cause of this, usually the micro switch is pressed down by the drive lever and if the switch is pressed down the motor controller knows the scooter is in gear.

I own a Pride Go Go four wheeled scooter. When scooter is turned on, even though batteries are fully charged, the scooter will not move. I have found that if i then switch it off and switch it from being...

Problem seems to be in the brake wiring or micro switch on the brake itself that is causing your problem check the brake and wiring to make sure you have good connections and check if you can see that the micro switch is working correctly. try leaving the switch on and moving the freewheel lever to see if it will reset without turning the switch off if it doesn't and you have to turn it on then off then there is a problem in the brake circuitry signal to the console and you will have to replace the brake/microswitch assembly. Hope this helps

Beeps when in drive won't move

How many times does it beep or is it continuous? Should beep a few times (usually up to 9 times), then stop, then beep so many times again, then stop and so an and so forth. Most of the time this is caused by the scooter being in freewheel or THINKING its in freewheel which could be a faulty brake switch. Also, on the GoGo ultra, the battery contacts regularly cause this problem and have to be replaced. They should be splotlessly clean and shiny for the contact to be good.

I have a Pride Gogo 3 wheel scooter. Suddenly I cannot get the 'freewheel' mode. Any suggestions please?

the lever at the back may be slack and missing the turn-point. Try moving up and down a few times, very gently, this may get the correct position,.
