I have two books of universal tv codes and neither have this type of tv code, I won this tv from a raffle and already it's frustrating. It's a digimate DGL2700 or so it says on the back of the TV

The first step is to make sure you have good batteries in the remote. The ones included tends to be cheap and you have no idea how old they are. first you will need to find the model number of the universal. look it up online for the manual and code book. you should probably get the original remote that goes with your unit. type in the model number of your unit in the search on ReplacementRemotes.com and find the OEM remote.
