1. Use the built in software on the laptop 2. access the software by going to start, progams, name of software 3. Open the software and adjust the default zoom settings under display settings 4. test the cam to see if the problem is fixed, if not, repeat the process and open up the program again

The camera automatically zooms to 200X when it is turned on. Is there a way to stop that. I need to film my daughter's solo as "Mary of Bethany" in a production this evening. Help please.

there will be a zoom function for the lens that you can use to adjust it
all cameras go to full zoom and can be adjusted back as required

My camera DSC-S750,got knocked down while taking picture. The zoom does not go in and when i try to turn it on,a flash comes as if its on and then turns off automatically. Please help.

The shock gave it a mechanical problem. It is probably hitting an error sensor when trying to open/close the zoom lens and turning itself off to protect itself from further damage. It will need to be repaired.

Hello please help in live view mode when i press the button to zoom 0x/5x/10/ the pic is very close in my LCD screen.my question is that when i am at 5x or 10x when i want to see my pics i have taken in...

The zoom button merely zooms in on the display. It magnifies a portion of the picture so you can get a better look at what you're about to photograph. LiveView or otherwise, if you want to zoom, you have use the zoom ring on your lens (assuming you're using a zoom lens in the first place, of course).

I want to disable to auto zoom feature but it will not allow me...every time i set it up it starts to auto focus and zoom...i wish to disable these..any help?thankyou

Zoom :
  • 3 x digital zoom (automatic or manual)
  • Travelling-ZoomTM function : Always be in the frame with this unique feature which tracks your face and even enlarges the field of view if there is more than one person in the frame. All completely automatic, just look at the web cam!
The above tells me that you can have automatic or manual 3x digital zoom. Go to the manual mode for the digital zoom and problem might be solved.

It zooms really close to my face

1) Launch QuickCam software, just goto Start>Programs>Logitech>Logitech QiuckCam.
2) Press the "Change Settings" button, and in the Settings page, just choose the manual focus option, and adjust your focus until the image is clear.

Power zoom function

If you have the difuser on the zoom does not work as it assumes you are at close range. Remove the defuser and try again, good luck , Bob.
