Basically each connector is made so that it can only go where it should go unless you do some modification or really force the connector in.

All in all you should have one 24pin brick of wires. This is made up of 20pin block plus 4pin block.
If your computer mainboad requires 24pins of power then take the 20pin block and add the 4pin block to it. If not then just use the 20pin block.

Then there is the 4pin CPU power brick. Can only go in one way.
This 4 pin block is not to be confused with the other 4pin block found on the 24pin brick.

Lastly there are 4pin Molex, SATA and stiffy connectors, they can also only go in one way.

If it all fits in then you should be alright.

CPU: 4pin
Mainboard: 20+4pin
Hard drives: Molex or SATA power

What is the wire harness on a Maytag epic z front load washer?

In the Maytag MHWZ400TQ01 washer model, the wire harnesses refer to the various electrical connectors and wiring throughout the machine. They connect the different components, such as the control board, motor, sensors, and other electrical parts.
To locate the wire harnesses and check them for any issues, you'll typically need to access the inner components of the washer. Here are some steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the washer: Ensure the washer is disconnected from the power supply for safety.
  2. Remove the top panel: Look for screws at the back of the washer holding the top panel in place. Remove these screws and slide the top panel backward or lift it up, depending on the model, to access the internal components.
  3. Locate the wire harnesses: Once the top panel is removed, you should see various wire harnesses connected to different components. They are typically bundles of wires with connectors at the ends. These connectors plug into corresponding receptacles on the components.
  4. Inspect the wire harnesses: Check each wire harness for any signs of damage, such as loose connections, frayed wires, or connectors not properly seated. Ensure all connections are secure and properly plugged in.
  5. Repair or replace as needed: If you find any damaged wire harnesses, you may need to repair or replace them. Repairing involves fixing loose connections or re-crimping connectors. If a wire harness is severely damaged, it's best to replace it with a new one.
As for obtaining a diagram or parts list specific to your washer model, it's recommended to visit the Maytag website or contact their customer support. They can provide you with the necessary documentation or direct you to resources that can help you identify and locate the parts in your washer.
Remember to exercise caution when working with electrical components and ensure the washer is completely disconnected from the power supply before performing any inspections or repairs. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with these procedures, it's best to consult a qualified technician for assistance.

My new video card Sapphire HD5770 is installed and now my pc will not post or boot, what can i do?

Make sure you have your card installed correctly in your PCIe slot, it should hook in. You also have to hook up power supply. This card requires minimum 450 watt power supply and 600 watt power supply if using crossfire and dual mode. If your system meets these requirements, and you have card seated properly and hooked to power supply. You may have to enter your bios and dedicate the PCIe slot. I'm guessing the system will boot without card.

How do I hook-up Sunpro Super tach 2. Wires: 1 each - green, red, white, and black? Or in general how do these type tachometers hook-up?

I've got an install diagram for that around here somewhere but for now, the trigger wire to run the tach itself goes to the "tach" connection next to the "Bat" terminal on the distributor cap. one wire attaches to your dash lighting so it comes on with the dash lights and dims properly, the other wire is likely a ground. If I don't add to this later, try googling Sun electronics...I am fairly sure they have an install page.

How do I replace the power supply?

To install a new power supply, you don't have to send your computer to a specialist; you can install one yourself.
Before You Purchase. You can buy a new power supply from your computer's manufacturer, a computer store, or an independent manufacturer, but first you should examine your current power supply. Check to see if your power supply is AT (Advanced Technology) or ATX (Advanced Technology Extended) style. Your power supply should be labeled AT or ATX, and in the same area, you should see the output voltage in watts (for instance, ATX-250W). Be sure to buy a new power supply with the same or higher wattage as your old power supply. The higher the wattage, the more energy your power supply will provide to your computer. If you're adding additional components to your PC, you should purchase a higher wattage power supply. Furthermore, measure the dimensions of your old power supply, and make sure these measurements are the same as the new power supply you're going to purchase.

Get Started. To replace your old power supply, you'll need a Phillips or flathead screwdriver, a well-lit, low-static area (avoid carpeted areas), small containers (to hold screws or loose parts), and a pen and paper.

Turn off your computer and all the peripherals (such as your monitor, printer, modem, and scanner). Unplug your PC and all the peripherals from their outlets. After that, unplug all peripherals from the back of the computer. Move to a well-lit, static-free area, such as a tile floor or a kitchen table. Remove the computer case or panels to expose the interior of your PC. The power supply is enclosed in a metal box located in the corner of your computer case.

Before you disconnect any wires, be sure to sketch and/or note where and how each of the wires is connected. These notes will help you remember where to plug things in when you install your new power supply. In addition, when you remove any components from your PC, you should put any loose screws or loose parts in separate, labeled containers to keep them safe and organized.

Find the bundle of wires that come out of your power supply. These wires connect to your motherboard and various drives. Follow the wires to their white, plastic connectors and pull each connector until it is free (never pull directly on the wires). Remove all wires from their internal components. You may have to disconnect the on/off switch if the switch is not built onto the power supply. Occasionally, a large bracket secures a computer's power supply. To remove the bracket, loosen the screws and take it out. Now, remove the four screws closest to the outside edge of the computer case. Don't remove the screws that hold in the power supply fan. Carefully lift out your power supply (don't be afraid to pull it out with a little force).

To install your new power supply, you can reverse the actions you took to remove your old one. Put the new power supply in the same place as the old unit, tighten the perimeter screws into place, replace the bracket, and reconnect the on/off switch. Reconnect the wires by following your sketches and/or notes in reverse. If you have any loose wires, bind them together with a twist-tie. Make sure the voltage switch visible on the power supply is set at 120V (120 volts, common in the United States). Replace your computer case/panels. Connect all peripherals and the power cord to the back of your PC. Plug your PC and the peripherals into their respective outlets.

Start It Up. Turn on your computer and monitor. You should hear the normal sounds of a computer powering up, such as the fan and hard drive spinning. If your PC doesn't turn on or if any components in your system don't function, you should turn off your PC and unplug it. Remove the case and check to make sure all the wires are properly connected. Replace the case, plug in your computer, and turn it back on. If you continue to experience problems, contact the power supply's manufacturer or your PC's manufacturer.

Hp pavilion 764c wire diagrams

Take a picture of the inside of your computer and put it up on the website with the wire connectors that need to be connected. The connecting wires should be in four groups. 1. The power supply connectors. These connectors will supply power to to all the power using components not supplied power by the motherboard itself. 2 The connections to the other components in your system like the dvd/cd player and the harddrive and floppy drive.3. The motherboard connections for the case. The power switch connector andreset switchconnector. The power led and theharddrive activity light. The USB connector and the audio connector. The fan connections like the cpu fan and other fan only connectors found on the motherboard. The external fans ( Fans that need to be connected to the power supply). Most of these connections are labeled on the motherboard. The case connectors also should be labeled for the correct connection. The best way to find the answers to this hook-up, may be to call HP pavilion with your computer make and model number, motherboard model number including revisions number. Computer made by big manufacturers tend to have may revisions and the only way to make sure your are getting a correct hook-up to the motherboard is call them for assistance.Especially if the motherboard and case labels are not present or so small that they cannot be read.Hope this helps you with your problem.

Emachine t2984 - need to diagram to install power & hard drive

There is 2 main cables you have to worry about to feed power to the system. One looks like a big rectangle block with a mess of wires attached. Make sure he is hooked into the system. Then if its an newer unit you will find a plug that has square look to it with just 4 wires attached and should plug in nearby the processor. (only newer units us this) Also if your dealing with the cant turn it on issue make sure to remove all cards off the board like the NIC, Video Card, and Audio Card. I am unsure as to weather or not your system comes with everything onboard or if its stand alone cards. If you still cant power on theres a bigger issue at hand and that maybe that your motherboard has blown.
