Sounds like you may have a belt that has either slipped off the pulley or has broken. I suggest checking with the manual that came with your dryer for your particular model instructions for accessing it. If your belt is secure you may need to replace the rollers. Dryers are actually not too complicated, but bear in mind it IS possible it may be time to replace it. Replacement part numbers are in your manual. You may be able to get them from your local appliance store or order from the internet and delivered directly to your door. UNPLUG YOUR DRYER FIRST BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!

If you can make the motor spin a few revolution by manual intervention, then the issue is most likely a faulty motor 'start' capacitor which is located near the motor: this replacement involves a dangerous MAIN AC VOLTAGE device and I would advice getting a qualified technician to check/repair your dryer.
