Your operating system is damaged, First try loading default value in your bios menu via in the exit tab, then save and exit which could be clocking error registration. If that doesn't work, I would assume that the operating system is currupted and you need to repair your operating system with the recovery/driver cd that came with your system. Load that into your drive, and change the boot option to dv/cd as boot priority and follow direction from there on. Should be a option to repair windows and a option to reformat and clean install. You want to repair first, to see if the promblem is solved. Please save or copy any important data before formating your drive. If you should have any question please feel free to ask.

Hello,
It sounds to me like the harddrive has errors on it. First, I would try completely reinstalling windows with the windows disk. If that does not solve the problem there are several pieces of software that are much stronger harddrive repair solutions than the built in Windows one. Try this one, it is free for 10 days. You will need another computer (friend's computer?) to download and burn this software onto a CD, then put the CD in your computer and boot to it by pressing any key when it asks you to.

After windows screen it goes blank, i know the lcd works because i can choose F2 or F12 and read and choose anything there however when i command it it just goes blank, no cursor, just blue / black ..blank

If the system will not complete boot, try the F8 boot menu and select safe mode and see if the system will boot to windows.
If the system boots to windows, you could have software issues or a startup item causing the system to hang at boot, try turning off the startup group items in MSCONFIG (Start, run, MSCONFIG) and see if the system will boot in normal mode.
If that is not help, hold the Fn Key while pressing the power buttong this should start PSA diagnostics on the system, see if any hardware fails

6)From this calander choose a highlighted black dat to take the computer back to and click next
7) This will restore the PC to a earlier time and hopefully cure the loop your laptop is currently stuck in

I have an HP Pavillion ZE2000 laptop and it will nto boot up, push button to turn it on. goes to windows page then goes black and nothing happens will nto boot all the way up to windows page with icons. is...

press f8 at startup to get to the windows startup menu, choose "last known good configuration" If that fails, you can choose "disable automatic restart" and the BSOD, Blue screen will appear and give you an error, you can also goto safe mode with the f8 key on startup, choose safe mode, and then click yes at the prompt to start the system restore, pick a date and time the PC worked, and try that.If that doesn't work, you need to restore the PC to factory default state, by using or purchasing restore disks, you would have been asked to make them when you 1st powered on the PC, if you don't have the CD's call HP and order them.

Won't boot

Try pressing F8 as your machine gets ready to start windows. Keep tapping it until you get a menu. You can try "most recent settings that worked" or failing that try starting Windows in safe mode. If it will start in safe mode regress it to a point before your failed download using System Restore. If it won't start at all, you may need to reinstall Windows.
