The only way to work around your problem if canon doesn't produce a new
Win 7 driver, is to download & install "XP mode" on the win 7
machine. Google it and you will find numerous articles describing how to
do this. Once installed, you can open the XP mode and install the
printer there. Once you have it installed using the win xp drivers, make
sure you click the tab at the top of the screen and select "attach"
for the device you require. You have to repeat this attach process each
time you open XP mode.
NOTE! XP mode will only work on WIN 7 Pro and upward.
