I have downloaded a printer driver for BJC 1000SP for Canon inkjet printer but it i s not win 7 compatible so need help Venugopal

This is quite an old printer you have. The installer and/or drivers are specific for operating system (windows Xp/Vista etc). You can probably find what you are looking for on the canon.com website through their support pages.

Type into the BJC100sp into the search box, it will give you download choices for older versions of Windows.

This printer is fully compatible with Windows 7. So once the printer is connected to the computer just turn it on and windows 7 inbuilt driver agent will download the compatible driver for this printer. In short this printer is Plug & Play qualified.

Hello my friend, Canon BJC-1000SP is always compatible for vista provided that you install the canon BJC-1000SP Driver for Vista Platform. All hardwares are always running on different platform provided that you need to install its driver compatible or supports the platform you are using. Coz hardwares are dependent on the softwares. If you want to test kindly download this driver BJC-1000SP this driver supports both XP and Vista Platform.

You can download the software from Canon.

Here is the page to download the driver from:

BJC Support

Click on the "Drivers & Downloads" tab. Select your operating system from the dropdown menu. (Windows 98)

Click on the red link for the driver BJ_v397.exe.

When the download window opens, select "Save" and select a location you know how to access after the download. For an easy way, save it to your Desktop.

After the download, connect the printer, turn it on. Then run (doubleclick) the file you saved.
