Frigidaire FRSHB5EHPW1, a few days ago water leaked from the water filter at the top of the refrigerator side. Now the temperature level light is flashing at 4. I moved it up to 7 and it defaulted back to 4. I tried turning the refrigerator off and then back on but it didn't help. Any ideas?

The Flashing #4 occurs when power is applied to the fridge and the control board goes through it's cycles and didn't detect a damper connection.

So its your air damper thats bad.

SOURCE: my refridgerator is leaking water from the front

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.
The fridge should be 40 degrees on lower but not 32 degrees of course.

NO ICE CUBE PRODUCTION

Check the water filter - may need to be replaced. Check your water connections for loose areas or water leaking. Might not be getting enough water. Check freezer temperature. If the temperature rises it will not produce ice at all.

Slow water flow

dadcanfix. There are two possibilities here. One could be the water valve itself, clogged or not seating or opening properly. The second would be the water tank on the refrigerator side, partially frozen. I believe they have a kit now with coiled tubing that replaces that tank because of the trouble they had with it. Remove the refer drawers and take a hair dryer and go over the tank lightly. See if that improves the water flow. Catriver..post back.
