I got a tv donated to our church for bible study and it had no power or picture. I was told the main power board and the Y-Main Board were gone so I ordered the replacement parts and replaced the two boards plus the center logic board. I now have power and a picture but the picture is very grainy and has a pinkish hue when the scene on the screen goes dark. It is hooked up to the HDMI input and I have tried all of the feeds, RGB, Analog and HDMI and all have the same results. Can the problem be in the video output board or is there something else I can do. I have too much money invested to quit now. what if any suggestions do you have? Thanks for any input you can give. If the power/standby light comes on, means, the power supply regulator board is working. The fault must be due to its main board. I already encounter that kind of problem many times..It looks like all normal even the green power light is not blinks or change to red or amber color but still no sounds or picture on TV..

Sometimes it will happen to plasma TV in all brands and model..It cause of faulty main board..

Just replace the board to fix your TV and it works again..

Note: When you install the board make it sure that the static energy on your body discharge to ground to avoid corrupt of main board IC..

EXAMPLE: open the cover then find the main board..before you do that make it sure you hold the metal portion of your TV to discharge static after that you can now freely replace the board and also make it sure to memorized the connector to avoid damage to make it sure take a picture on it before unplug connector for future reference in case..

again discharge static please!!!..Only few tech or other people know this that's why when they install new boards its not works even it is new..I discover this base on my experience and study..

This tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows or 3D pictures look alike?The tv convergence board is dead.The tv convergence board must be requiring to change 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fix the tv convergence board,to solved the tv convergence picture problems.Find some one in ur church can do basic electronic soldering,have all the tools?Tries websites like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a convergence kit,also included a DVD disc for tutoring u how to do it that belong to ur tv make and model to repair it,the convergence problems by ur self.Or the shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

yea it sounds like a main-board or inverter board.. sounds like the panel of the television is loosing power and you are still getting sound..

Olevia did go out of buss.. but i know this 3rd party repair center called Amergence technology is offering to repair Olevia's. But the thing is that the whole television will have to get service they don't sell parts so you might want to give them a call and get an idea on the repair quote.. 866-965-3842

it can be the wire getting short from the main board towards the power supply board which helps to get the picture that needs to be checked and replaced to get the proper picture.

If you power the TV set ON, count how many times the light on the front blinks?
Is very unlikely you have to replace the whole main board.
