If you have trouble connecting your mp3 player to your computer, you can always try this --it definitely works on my computer;

1) turn on your mp3 player,
2) push the 'power slider' downward to put it on hold,
3) press on the left of the wheel as if you were to go to the previous song,
4) wait until the 'blue rectangle with the lock' flashes once,
5) plug in your mp3 player to your computer,
6) wait for a few seconds, and a menu should pop-up

hope this was helpful!

I think I have a solution. If you're using Windows Media Player like you're supposed to, click the sync button in the top menu bar. if it says click here to sync device slick there and it'll pop up a menu telling you to name your Sansa and click ok and you should be good to go.

Why is there no manual with my sansa fuze

Hello,

For the Sansa Fuze there's a manual available in pdf format on the Sandisk support site:
http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/UserManual/FUZE/fuze_userguide_en.pdf
Save this file to a location on your computer for later use.

When you explore "My Computer" the micro SD card with x GB memory, should be available as an extra external drive.
This drive will show up as an extra drive letter with a total capacity of x GB .

PLEASE HELP !

Ok, first take in a deep breath. What you should do is hold in the power/menu button. hold it in for about 2-5 minutes, yes it will take a while. just be patient. once it is finished restarting plug it back into your computer and it should be detected.

My 8 gb sansa

Does the charging sign show up? It could be a bad cable. Also make sure you have the right software You can get it here at: http://www.sandisk.com/sansa
Go to Support\product support\sansa view\ thenlook in the right column

Try it with different usb ports as well.
Go to Device Manager and look for "?'s" or "!'s"

Cant download anything hpdv6000 to my sandisk sansa view

Install Media converter, then connect sansa. Then, it should appear in My Computer as Sansa View. You can add it there or use the converter software.

Sansa View not appearing in My Computer

In that case, I'd suggest you to check whether do you have latest version of USB 2.0 installed in your computer or not. Also you can try by connecting the device in different USB port.If still the same, please go ahead and update the latest MTP drivers.

Steps needs to be followed up to update MTP drivers :

1. With the Sansa connected to your computer, open the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
2. Select the USB Mass Storage Device.
3. Click the Properties button.
4. Go to the Drivers tab.
5. Click the Update Driver button.
6. Select Yes at this time only, then click Next.
7. Select Install the Software Automatically, then click Next.
8. This should update the MTP Device driver. You may be prompted to restart the computer.
