TV Keeps flashing Fuzzy black and white static then the picture appears

Sometime the screen cuts inhalf half with fuzzy flashing black and white static moving and there will be a line down the middle with the bottom half black and white not moving. After about 5/10 minutes the picture will appear for about 5 minutes and it will go to the black and white screen again.
What should we do the sound is PERFECT.

It sounds like a panel fault. Anyway, check this link. It has details with illustrations to Plasma display panels. Check them to that of your TVs, and make sure. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timslide option.

You need a Digital to Analog converter box as your TV is analog, and all broadcasts, since Last June 12 are Digital.

Call 1-800-Samsung to set up a warranty service call. They will repair it in your home if they send a Samsung Field Engineer. You probably have a bad Main bd.

Purple and white distorted fuzzy lines running up and down and side to side on tv

I just had my lower Y-buffer board swapped out to fix a problem similar to yours. After an hour and a half of on-time, the lower half of the screen would flicker on and off with the same appearance you mentioned. Changing out this particular board fixed it for me. However, since it has gone from top to bottom on your set, it may be more of a main board problem for you (that controls both upper and lower halves). Beyond this, I don't know any more. I am considering getting a service manual to gain more knowledge about the various PCBs in the unit so I can fix any future problems myself.
