Yes, the status light indicates activity so it is normal for it to flash.
First, the obvious, it is possible that some of the videos are damaged...moving on...
Router troubleshooting:
It is a good idea to disconnect the power to your router for at least 30 seconds every few weeks. You should also do this to any hubs/switches between your computers and the router. Logon to router and try to set the MTU to 1492. Make sure only have one router between you and the Internet. Many ISP's refer to bridges and routers as modems so it is hard to tell. If your router connects to "modem" to access the Internet try connecting your computer directly to the "modem". If that works better then you have multiple routers "Natting". (Google: double nat) Finally, try a different router.
Computer troubleshooting:
Scan your computer for problems using Malwarebytes.org. Install all available "messenger" updates and fixes. If you are referring to Windows Messenger it has been replaced with Windows Live Messenger which is a free download. (Google: Windows Live Messenger)

I recommend that you start with the easiest recommendation to follow and, if necessary, continue to the next easiest. Don't try to do everything at once.

Normally power light on router is stable solid Green! If you notice the power light is flashing its better to use surge protector! Also try to power off once and wait for a minute or two and power on again. Its always better to use electricity surge protector for all computer equipment!

WTF! internet used to work perfectly and now my wireless router is on the fritz and the status light keeps flashing! i have to hook my comp up to the wall to write this message

If the status led light keeps flashing there is a problem on your ISP side. Router is trying to establish connection with internet. Please check led light status on your modem (not router). Also please try to change position of your router as it might be in a "dead spot". For more info about your router please visit: http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6

Router will not connect

Hi,

It seems to be a hardware issue. We can try to reset the router. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.
Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.
Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 20 seconds.
Step 4 Release the Reset button.
Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting.
Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.

Check the light status (Also let us know the status in your response). If the lights are ok then reconnect the device with modem and computer and run the following commands

1. Click on start and go to run and in run box type cmd and click on ok.
2. In the black window type ipconfig and press enter.
3. Send us the output
4. Then type the following command ping 192.168.0.1 press enter.
5. Send us the output

Can not get it to work at all. running a macbook. I have no tech knowledge. But apple talked me through it and said its not the mac. The status light keeps flashing is that normal? the power and WAN...

mine is flashing too - that shouldn't be the problem

you should specify problem a little bit more

I don't know how is your di-524 connected to the broadband, if you are trying to connect wirelessly or using cable, have you checked router config, do you need login and pass from your isp, do you use additional mode/router etc.?

Say something more about errors you are getting.

My linksys router keeps dropping connectivity to the internet

does your router and your landline phone is in one connection in with a splitter..
does connection failed whenever there's a call?
if so your splitter might be broken
or you must insert your phone line with the splitter, it might be in your connection set up..
or make sure your utp cable is stable and not in exposure area of people or pet where it might be touch or something..

hope this helps...

Error light and no printing

What does the status monitor message say? The red light is the most general error. It's bit like taking a 747 back to Boeing and saying there is something wrong with it.

If you do not have the status monitor installed, download it from Konica Minolta and run it. Once the status monitor is running it will read the error from the printer.
