The laser modules in saws are usually powered by induction from the spinning saw blade. Since your saw is only three months old hopefully you either registered it with Hitachi when you bought it or you still have your receipt as this type of failure would be covered under warranty. Call Hitachi, they may send the part to you if you are comfortable with doing the repair or they will tell you where the nearest Authorized Service Center is for warranty work.
