Transfer files to a mac

I have recorded in FHD format and can't get the video transfer to my mac.  Does it require additional software?  I found a site that said I needed Quicktime pro to transfer, is this true?  If so that should have been noted.  I was told I had all the software included in the cameras purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Trudy

Install the software. Also it would be good if you could give the model number

  • Anonymous Jul 18, 2008

The software might not work, but you might want to try downloading the driver for the camera for mac. It doesn't include the sofware, just a driver to make it recognizable by mac.

Also, the formant you recorded may not be compatible with mac. You might need a mac converter to convert that format into one recognizable by mac.

4. Start recording: In the video capture software, select the option to capture video from a DV device. Click the Record button in the software and then press Play on the camcorder to begin playing the Mini DV tape. The video should be captured and recorded onto your computer.

You took some funny videos with it and you want to transfer the recorded video to computer, edit the record video with Windows Movie Maker or upload them to YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, etc. It's easy to do that, and this guide will show you the detailed steps to make full use of the iPod recorded video.

Plug in your iPod Nano to computer, run iTunes and select the iPod in the device list, go to the Summary tab. Then you will see the "Enable disk use", check it and click the Apply button. It's the same for Mac user to enable iPod disk use.

Step2. Because iTunes prevent you copying the non-purchased file from iPod to computer, you need an iPod transfer software to copy the iPod video, I have tried many iPod transfers, and this iPod transfer works best for the iPod Nano recorded video. I have scanned it with Norton Virus Protector, it's safe without any virus and spyware. Download and install it, connect your iPod to computer. Then run the iPod Transfer, it will search the iPod automatically; and all files on iPod will return in a list.
