SOURCE: cant connect my HTC touch HD to PC thru activesync

1. Go to the settings.

2. From the options of Personal, System, & Connections, chose connections.

3. Tap on USB to PC icon.

4. Here lies the demon. There is a small box with lengthy explanation line (probably automatically ticked) which says "Enable faster data synchronization" you just need to uncheck it and tap on ok.

Now the activesync will start working.

SOURCE: HTC HD2 they gave me the wrong download for english

Well with the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it. You will then see a message on the screen asking if you're sure about resetting it. If so press the VOLUME UP key. It should boot shortly after that.
Goodluck!

Hello Sly,

The HTC HD2 Smartphone may be affected due to virus or malware which is causing restarting and screen freezing problem. The virus or malware can infect the HTC HD2 Smartphone by the means of Bluetooth or PC Connectivity. You don't need to install any special PC suite software when connecting your HTC HD2 to your computer. Just connect it using a USB cable and you will be ask to choose the type of USB Connection that you want (Active Sync, Disk Drive or Internet Sharing).

File transfer

I got the same thing - my computer would charge the device, but not recognize it to allow file transfer. it was the same for all USB ports. I tried using the USB cable from my old Samsung YP-T9, and it actually worked immediately. So it is not the device itself, but the USB cable, for some reason. I don't know how to solve the problem with the HTC HD2 cable, though.

How to connect wifi to htc hd2 mobile

if you got the usb cable when you bought the cell phone conect it through it. one part goes to the phone (probably where you charge it), and the other one goes to the hifi usb port (if the hifi has it). if not then you cannot conect those two devices.

I want Modem Driver for HTC Hero phone using sprint network

Using the HTC Hero as a USB Modem
In order to use this functionality, the HTC Sync software must be installed onto the PC first (http://blog.brightpointuk.co.uk/synchronise-htc-hero-microsoft-outlook).
The HTC Sync installer is included on the SD card that comes in the Hero sales package, or alternatively is available for download from our FTP site:
ftp://ftpaccess:Brightpoint1@ftp.brightpointuk.co.uk/Technical%20Support...
You can download the software to your PC, or insert the microSD card into a suitable reader to access the software.
Once installed, on the Hero device browse to Settings --> Wireless Controls and enable the option to enable Mobile Network Sharing. Now connect the Hero to the PC via the supplied USB cable. Windows will detect the new hardware automatically and install an "HTC Remote NDIS Network Adapter": Provided that your Hero has a cellular data connection, you will now be able to use that connection from your PC.
