Usually the power switch connects to pins # 3 & 4 on my diagram above. You can test this out by shorting those two pins with a screwdriver and see if your computer powers up. If not, try shorting the other sets of pins, 1-2, 6-7, 8-9.

I can`t connect the HDD LED cable on my motherboard

Push your case's "HDD LED" connector onto the "IDE LED" header pins of the motherboard - it is the same thing. If this does not solve your problem, please restate the issue a bit more clearly.

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps

New case and new motherboard, when trying to turn on computer, power button doesnt work

Carefully double check the connection header pins and the leads that come from the front panel for LEDS indicators and push button switches. The motherboard manual will indicate what the numbering scheme is for the header pins (which pin is #1, etc.) and where they are physically located on the board itself. You may have simply connected one or more switches and indicators to the wrong pin. Getting them straight should solve the problem.

Looking for a compatible Driver for my Ethernet connection

Open up device manager> double click on the unknown device> go to the details tab> in the drop down choose hardware id> google the alpha numeric code on the first row before the & symbol (ex- PCI\VEN_14E4)

That will give you the make of the ethernet adapter you have on the pc. Once you have it installed you can patch up the wireless as it works on the network adaptor base which generates the ip address.

Hit me again if this dosent do the trick.

Power lead

should be a very long connector... about 12 pins... and a square four pin.... if you mean the power switch plug in... farthest corner from the rear outputs... you will see a double row of pins... if you are lucky it will be labeled on the motherboard.... if not go to www.asus.com click on support and look for the manual... it will tell you there.
