The back roller on my Precor 9.20s has started to squeak. Sounds like the sealed bearings inside the roller are shot. Are replacement rollers for this model available? Please provide details.

ck rollers in back of tub,this will require that you removethe tub.also ck the belt addjuster these need to be lubercated ever few years. ck also around the tub seals, sometimes coins left in chlothes will stick in or around & rub metal making noise.i would remove the belt from motor before trying anything.turn on air fluff setting. start dryer to see if noise is comeing from motor or tub.

if you get the motor out and it's not a sealed unit you can replace the bearings there should be a number on the side ,if not you need to measure inside and outside diamiter also the width you can get them off ebay or this link below

The squeaking could be coming from the idler pulley on the motor, the drum rollers or a worn drum seal. It is not a good idea to spray the rollers with WD-40. The WD-40 will attract lint that will build up and could catch on fire inside the dryer cabinet. A bad drum support roller or any other squeaking component inside a dryer cabinet will normally need to be replaced.

The most common stuff that comes to mind first:
1) one of the rollers (there are 2) has worn out and they skreech as
they're being killed. I've even seen rollers fall apart, with the outer
part of the roller (the rubber part) squeaking as it revolves around a
frozen-on roller bearing.
FIX: replace roller(s) that're making noise
Cost of part: $10
2) the motor bearing are shot - they scream as they're being ground to dust.
Fix: replace motor.
Cost: if dryer is old, replace dryer. If Dryer under warranty, use it.

The squeak is most likely from the drum support rollers or the drum bearing. If it's the rollers, they're fairly easy to replace and often a drop of lubricant will solve the problem. This is just one supplier of such parts:

Many reasons for this to happen. First the seal surrounding the drum to the front panel maybe dirty causing this squeak
In the other hand most squeaks are caused by the dried up bearing inside the roller for the belt tensioner. If so replace the belt and tensioner pulley for the belt gets stretched by a worn pulley and will break eventually too

The squeak was from a bad bearing in the belt tensioner.
replace the roller assembly for the tensioner and the belt too.
The roller has a bearing in it that has gone bad causing this problem

The squeaks are normally a sign of dry drum roller bearings. You either need to lube the shaft and bearing of the roller or replace the roller completely.
The drying problem sounds like you have a least one bad thermostat, need to check and replace the faulty thermostat

Sounds like something is caught between the drum and dryer (inside) or the drum bearings are going bad. Normally sounds like a squeaking then get to a grinding noise (not good)

The squeaking is usually attributed to any (or all) of the following:

The drum support rollers
The rear drum seal
The front drum ring bearing
The front drum seal and bearing assembly
The Idler Pulley

All the bearings and seals for the drum are either felt or plastic, the drum rollers support the drum at the rear bulkhead, and the idler pulley is what the drive belt rides on. I list all these parts as a convenience in case you need to order any of them, and to help illustrate where these parts are located. You may not need ANY of them.

The drum support rollers require lubrication at the point where the roller meets the shaft with a light turbine oil. This should be done periodically to keep them rolling smooth. DO NOT get any oil on the rubber rollers or it may cause the drum to slip. You should also remove any build of lint before lubricating.

The drum seals can become brittle with age and start making noise as the drum rotates. This is particularly true with the rear drum seal. It will become discolored with age and turn brown in many cases. Inspect the front and rear seals of the drum for excessive wear. If parts of the seal begin to protrude into the interior part of the drum, this is a good sign that the seal is bad. The seals cannot be lubricated and will require replacement.

The idler pulley is a small plastic wheel on a shaft that the drive belt rides on. Lubricating the idler pulley wheel in the same manner as the drum roller supports is also required from time to time. DO NOT get any oil on the drive belt.
