Hi. Yes. If your machine has departments on the keyboard, then you need to set the status of the departments to include tax 1, 2 ,or 3 as required. If your machine has PLUs, you need to change the status of the PLUs.
If you need more information, there are manuals here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/cashregisters.php

How to program tax into only one department. I have entered the tax according to instructions but it automatically puts tax on all department keys.

You set the rate in the tax rate program then you set each department as taxed or no tax. If it is affecting all depts, you need to look up department programming and set tax (usually tax1 to 0 or off) in each dept

How to program two non cumulative taxes on a Casio PCR-T2000A?

Firstly, change the rates for each tax in the tax rate setting tables of your manual. Then you need to turn on tax rate 1 and 2 for departments that need both. This is done in the department programming tables. Tax setting can be quite involved so follow the tables carefully. If you need a programming manual, One of the users has it here:

I have set the tax amount, but can't change the departments for tax an dnon tax

In the department programming section, there should be a setting to turn on each tax (tax1, tax2 etc). Turn on or off the tax that you just set the rate for.

Casio PCR-T280 Help with Taxes and Departments.

In department programming, there is an option to turn on or off each tax. You need to turn off tax1 and turn on tax2 (if that is the one you have programmed for the rate you need). Just look up the tables for tax rate and department programming in the manual. If you don't have one, C-tech has it listed here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_PCR-T280_operating_and_programming_manual.html

Remove Casio PCR-T2000 Tax Table 2

Hi. You are working in the wrong area. You need to tell each department not to add TAX2. Go to the department programming, and there should be a setting that says use tax1, use tax 2 etc. Turn off tax2 for any depts that you don't want it added and it will no longer print or calculate tax 2 for that department.

Here is a link to help you find the manual to help you with that. http://www.sharpusa.com/products/FunctionLanding/0,1050,30,00.html

Choose small business cash registers and look for your model. If you don't find it there, go back to the link and choose commercial cash registers.

I have a Sharp Elec cash register Model #XE-A102, Serial #6D097529, and have lost the manual, and need to program it for tax. I found a manual online but was unable to understand or complete programming

Ok. Do you need to change the rate, or the categories (departments) that get taxed? There are various settings. If the machine has never had tax setup before, then tell me how many taxes you use, their rate, and whether you tax all categories of product.

CASIO ms-7TV

To change the task number you must press and hold % (rate set) for 3 to 5 seconds, should appear tax XX %, now type your tax number and press % again and AC. To test type "100" press TAX + and the result should be 110, if your tax rate is 10% for example.
