Hi When I start my computer monitor starts fine but will go black (as if in sleep mode but will not restart but computer is still running) green light goes to orange. Works if I connect another monitor to my computer at same time but is very annoying. Monitor is 11 months old. Had this problem when first received it and returned it to store and they replaced the monitor and it is now happening to this one. Any solutions?
I have the same problem with the 22" Chimei "No Input Signal". When computer is awaken the Chimei stays orange light. I have to restart computer for the Chimei LCD to work again (green light). Also now when computer starts, the Chimei starts up ok, but when Windows starts up I get the dreaded "No Input Signal" I can get into Windows under VGA mode, but if I change resolution I get the "No Input Signal". Have changed VDO cards still same problem.

My monitor reports a "No Input Signal" problem when booting Windows Vista 64... but can start fine in safe mode, to try and solve this I have reinstalled all driver software, but still does not solve the problem, my monitor is a CMV223D and is about 1 month old.
What is the fix for this problem?

Hi All,
I have this problem too.. seems to happen every time there is a windows update. I managed to fix it by unplugging the Digital and using AGP.. restart PC... then unplug AGP use Digital again and Voila! but for some reason it hasnt worked with this latest upgrade

Same problem as all of the above. It's very sporadic, and if I mess with it long enough, I can get it back up and running, but there's no telling when it will lose it's input signal again.
The "solution" below is not accurate. The problem is not with the connection, it sounds very much like a problem with this monitor model.

Check if you VGA is properly settled in the PCI slot. Try to take it out, clean the slot for dust. If that doesn't help, it is well possible that you VGA is not working any more.
TRY UNPLUGGING COMPUTER AND MONITOR AND DISCONNECTING MONITOR FROM THE BACK OF THE COMPUTER. BE SURE TO UNPLUG AND NOT TURN OFF. WAIT ONE MINUTE THEN PLUG COMPUTER BACK IN . RECONNECT MONITOR TO THE BACK OF THE COMPUTER AND PLUG IN. IF THIS WORKS, WAIT FOR NEW HARDWARE RECOGNIZED TO COME ON. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, IF ANY. RESTART COMPUTER.
if the message you recieve is no input signal if only means that you have a problem with your video card, the monitor is fine but you need to have your video card check
"Press the "Input" button on your LCD monitor's front panel repeatedly at three- or four-second intervals until your monitor wakes up. If your monitor is set to an incorrect input mode, it won't receive a video signal. After you reset the monitor to the proper input mode, it will receive the signal and wake up automatically."
I had a similar problem whereas my monitor went to sleep mode after a few minutes. I'm running an HP LP 2065 in dual mode with another HP flat screen. However, I did resolve the issue after resetting the output settings.
How to do that:
right mouse click on the desktop
select graphic options
output to
extended desktop
Maybe some changings/modification will help you too.
