My television will not turn on. The light blinks 6 times over and over again and there is no picture or audio.

That chassis for sony is the DA4 chassis and they had a big problem with regulator failures in the main power supply. primary and secondary power regulators the location numbers are IC8002 and IC6501 i believe the part number from sony is MCZ3001DB you must get the part number that ends is (DB) or you will not reliably repair the tv. the sony part number is 6-705-810-01 they are going to cost around $20 each because they are the good parts. they are going to be about 20 pin ICs and you will just need to desolder old ones and resolder new. they will be on the board on the left looking from the back about middle of the board on the left hand side. good luck!!!

depending on the make and model of the TV, the duration of the flash and number of flashes determines the error code.

If you turn it on and the, Power/Standby green light blinks slow 6 times; then it becomes a red fast blink 6 times, pause, then continues to blink red fast 6 times, again and again. this means when it's blinking 6 times is indication of electrical circuitry malfunction. The Television will need service.

My sony kv-32hv600 has a red Stand By light blinking 6 times and then it pauses and blinks 6 more times. Is there any way I can reset it so that I can use the TV again. There is no picture or sound coming...
No the blinking lights are an error code with an issue and that protects the TV from further damage.

I believe that is a power supply board failure code. Time for repair! Sorry! Take it in for service or you may try to repair it yourself.

I have power but it will not turn on. unplugged from power cord overnight then plugged into wall worked fine until i shut it off again, now it keeps blinking the delay light

Sony KLV-S32A10 32 when i turn on picture come then goes off
If the Standby light is blinking at the front panel of the TV, it seems that there is an internal malfunction occurred in the TV.

Based on service manual info, it cant blinks 7 times as per symptoms, please count again blinks. It can be 5 times.
If its 7 times blink, Horizontal Deflection stopped in this case. If you want to repair it at your own, please let me know to guide you further but it is necessary you should have knowledge of electronics.

Sony LCD television will not power on.
I get 5 blinking red lights for about a minute or so before it powers back down. The Sony TV has a specific light that i presume is supposed to light up when the bulb is out. I'm unsure if this is what it is.
no picture, no sound. tries to boot with green light blinking a few times. then goes to red blinking light, six in all, then waits a few moments, then another 6 blinking red light.
Bulb was already replaced several months ago but we do have the TV on for long periods of time.
