I can not open my rediffmail account on Nokia6600

The phone must be unlocked.
Then go to ATT or get a straight talk sim card for ATT towers.
Then open an account and assign the account to the sim card.
Stick the sim card in the phone and set the tower settings as required and you are online.


You just need a fresh sim card, linked to your account.

They need to update and/or correct their records to link your account to the sim card in your phone so that your service will work.

Welcome to Fixya. This is not a problem with the phone. SIM Registration Failed means that the network is not accepting the SIM card for some reason. So you will not be able to place/receive calls at all. Call customer service of the sim card provider. and ensure the activation is ok. Once the activation is done correctly, the towers will accept the SIM card again. If that doesn't work, then you need to tell them to give you another SIM.

All sim cards are not alike. The card that is giving you the error is not compatible with your phone. Get a new sim card from your cell service provider.

you may either have your sim card not seated securely or maybe just a bad phone or even a bad sim card if i were you i would contact your local cell phone retailer they will be able to help you further!

No, your handset seems ok. Its related with your SIM card's registration. Have you tried it on some other phone? Try putting the SIM card on another phone. Most probably the validity of your SIM card has expired. Please check with your service provider for re-activation if that is possible. Please let us know how did it go...
