My G1 cell phone was shutting off during phone calls, even when fully charged. I bought a brand new G1 of the same model, and it's doing the same thing. It's fully charged, and hasn't even been used for a full day. The only thing the same with the phones is the SIM card. Can this be the problem, or is it something else? What can I do to fix it?
The new phone I bought came with a new battery. Both phones do the same thing, and both do it no matter which battery is being used. The new phone I bought came with a new battery. Both phones do the same thing, and both do it no matter which battery is being used.
DEAR FRIEND, THE ONLY SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM IS TO BUY A DIFFERENT PHONE ENTIRELY. THAT MEANS IT IS A FACTORY FAULT.DEAR FRIEND, THE ONLY SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM IS TO BUY A DIFFERENT PHONE ENTIRELY. THAT MEANS IT IS A FACTORY FAULT.

Thats a tought porblem. You could find a old phone that uses the same battery and use the charger port of the old phone to charge your battery. A call to your cell provider may help finding what phone also uses your type of battery.Old phones can be bought on ebay or craigs list for cheep. Find your battery model number and google " phones that use _ _ _ _ _ battery. good luck.
normally many cell phones requires 6-10hrs for its batter to fully charge up. also i have seen it where battery can be brand new but doesn't have enough juice to hold the charge. now as far as red light on charger, remember even if you have 99% charged batter and you plug in the charger it will show you red light on phone/cradle.
FYI- all brand new phones are covered with 30 days of warranty replacement with new phone. after 30 days it covers upto 1 year from the date of purchase with refurbished phones.
In your case i think it is just the battery, try having your provider replacing new battery if no luck again then my suggestion will be to replace your phone with new battery with in 30 days.
