I wouldn't wash the fabric on the car seat or stroller. Washing car seat fabric is a huge pain, as you'll probably find out at some point after a major spit-up or blowout. You pretty much have to take the entire car seat apart. Stroller fabric isn't as bad, but still bad, and it will fade depending on the type of stroller you have. Pre-washing infant clothing is to prevent packing or dying chemicals from coming in contact with their delicate skin, but I wouldn't worry about it with the car seat or stroller.

Hi there, I would hand wash it. Sunlight soap is the best and give it a good soak and rub with your hands and the marks should come out. DON'T put it in the washing machine, so many websites say just machine wash but I don't recommend it. I saw someone trying to sell a second hand hood once and it had completely skewed out of shape. They don't take long to wash/ rinse until water clean and squeeze hard and dry in the shade. Don't put any cleaning substances/ upholstery cleaners on it, Sunlight soap is the all time favourite for this sort of thing and gets most marks out. If you don't know what Sunlight soap is then any pure soap or baby friendly detergent/ washing soap would do (any with a picture of a baby on it.

Need new water pump on washer less than 2 yrs old. Is it covered under warranty?

Unless you have an extended warranty then it is not covered unless you first paid for it when you bought is using an American Express Credit card. If so then by using American Express you gain another year from when you first purchased it.

Frigidaire dishwasher model FDB520RHS2 will not advance pst wash- just keeps washing draining and refilling the wash. does not advance. Left it run for 3 hours, still wash only

We had a problem with our dishwasher, it just went crazy one day and lights would light up but ours did not wash or anything...anyways upon further investigation found out by taking 6 large round head screws off,, the handle and outer cover came off, then there was a cover that was covering a circuit board and this was the brains of the washing machine, ordered the part from sears 160.00 and washer is all set. good luck. oh ya, upon further exam. when I took the board off could see discoloration on part of the circuit board. this means burned out resistor or fuse.

How do I machine wash my futon cover?

You should wash your futon cover separately from other items. You need to ensure there is room in the machine for it. Avoid using detergents containing bleach. Wash the cover using the cold wash/cold rinse cycle (unless label inscription suggests otherwise). After the wash cycle is complete, you can put the cover in the dryer and tumble dry on a low-heat setting. I like to remove the cover halfway through the drying cycle to flip it to ensure that it dries evenly.

Washing covered in dirty marks

It sounds as if a bearing seal was defective when it left the factory and is allowing lubricant to bleed out; I would consider this a warranty item and if the company doesn't care to make it right, file a complaint with the local BBB relating to the dealer where you bought it and nationally against the company itself.
Maybe they don't want this stain on their reputation but this is another reason to avoid US manufacturers.

I have bought a used quinny buzz - although is pushchair is in fab condition I havent got the first idea how to use it - is there anywhere I can download the user manual? Can the seat cover from the first...

Check out the manual at http://www.quinny.com/ - click on the buzz link and download the manual at the bottom of the central screen. You can buy spares direct from Quinny via their parent company in the UK at www.dorel.co.uk/contact-us/
If not, try ebay! There are loads

I have just bought a hoover washing machine in the instructions it says to remove the fixing screws ans cover the holes with the provided caps why when the fixing screws are much more sturdy

because they are there for transport ONLY.
They are not necessary when the macine is in use - in fact will cause damage.

Quiy zapp

This is what the actual Quinny Zapp manual says. If you machine wash it and it shrinks, they will not cover a replacement under warranty, so beware.

Care and Maintenance
Spot clean pad with cold water and mild soap. Air dry.
Periodically check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or loose stitching. Tighten or replace parts as needed.

Whenever you wash things like this in the washing machine, it is best to do a delicate cycle on cold and hang dry to avoid any shrinkage or damage to the material.

Maytag model mdbtt70aww. After the end cycle. open the door and found detergent tab on the bottom and the main wash cover is opened. Maytag diswasher model MDBTT70AWW. Put dishes and so...

Check both arms are spinning freely when you have the machine loaded up normally.
If thats ok you could try powder instead of tabs if they are not disolving correctly

Stroller pad cleaning

You can remove the seat pad by unsnapping the two straps on either side of the bottom of the pad (where it covers over the metal frame). Then just thread the buckles through it. As far as the rest of the fabric such as canopy or fabrice sides, no luck. I got this stroller used and wanted to wash it all. I ended up just putting it (minus the removable pad) into my shower and washing it with the shower head. Then I got a Mr. Clean magic eraser and cleaned up the plastic parts. Now it looks so good!

Hope this helps...
