Please describe your cannon laserbase 5630 showing paper check error after printing one print problem:

Hi mani4u58,
After the print, does the alarm indicator show?
Are the papers loaded and aligned in the correct way in the printers cassette? Please align them well and also note that the cassette can hold only around 250 sheets at a go.Remove the cassette completely when loading the papers and after paper load, insert the cassette as far as it can go.Does the printer feed paper correctly? If not, there may be a paper jam.To clear the jam, open the front cover by pulling it towards you.Remove the cartridge and inspect the compartment. Also make sure the orange adhesive tape around the cartridge is full removed to free its connections. You can also unplug the printer and leave it for a while and then plug it back to clear jam.

Hope it helps.Thanks!

I have a canon mx870 and it will not print from the cassette lower tray, even if it is set to it, it always wants to print from the rear, even if it is closed!

It may be that, if it's not the tray allocation settings causing the problem, some printer maintenance will fix this. I had this problem, after I had only had my MX870 a couple of months. Suddenly, it would not print from the cassette even when printing to standard A4 plain paper. Nor would it print from the cassette even when I changed the printer settings from 'automatic' tray selection to print always from the cassette. After seeing something online, I then ran some of the MX870 maintenance applications, first 'Cleaning', then 'Print Head Alignment', and finally 'Roller Cleaning' for the cassette rollers (for which you have to remove all paper from the cassette). The problem has been solved (at least for the moment).

The printer is showing a 'red' paper light, but I cannot find any paper jammed in the printer and there is paper in the paper tray. Prior to this light I did get get 'yellow' drum light, but the printer...

This printer is a little picky about the paper cassette, lift the printer while you insert the cassette all the way in, also open the front door and pull out he toner/drum unit and check for paper inside, write back if the error doesn't go away...

Will not print because paper always jams

Perhaps there is paper still jammed inside the printer that you cannot see (or little bits from a previous jam)

1) Turn off the power
2) Disconnect the power cord and USB cable
3) Open the rear cover and see if paper is jammed inside the cassette area. Gently remove any paper and make sure no little bits of paper are left inside
4) Open the scanning unit (printer cover) and check that no paper is stuck internally. Be careful not to touch the components inside the printer.
5) Reattach the power cord and USB cable
6) Power On and retry your print job

Hi mate,
Prior to your issue i may enlighten you with this source.
Technical Infomation 0105/0101/0102/0103/0201/0202/0203/0204 Jam Code: Paper lint adheres to surface of vertical path roller

Description
Since a type of paper that can easily generate lint was used, the paper lint adhered to the surface of the vertical path roller and decreased the paper feed performance of the roller, causing the jam code "0105."
Depending on paper sources, the following jams occur.
- Cassette 1: 0105 (registration sensor PS9 delay)/0201(cassette1 retry sensor PS10 stationary)
- Cassette 2: 0101 (cassette 1 retry sensor PS10 delay)/0202(cassette 2 retry sensor PS11 (cassette pedestal) delay)
- Cassette 3: 0102 (cassette 2 retry sensor PS11 delay)/0203 (cassette 3 retry sensor PS1 (cassette pedestal) delay)
- Cassette 4: 0103 (cassette 3 retry sensor PS1 (cassette pedestal) delay)/0204 (cassette 4 retry sensor PS2 (cassette pedestal) delay jam)
To prevent this, a vertical path roller to which paper is hart do adhere was used for the following machines (the color of the roller was changed from black to gray).
