I have a MAAX Hydromax - not sure about the model #. The blower and circulation pump no longer engage. At first the problem was intermittent now it will not work at all. I tried to trouble shoot the problem by turning off the power and un-plug the rybon wire. I checked all wire connections I could reach. I cannot access the back of the control pad. I get SP6 code that displays on the control display. My wife wants this fixed ASAP. Can yoy help or know where I can go to get help?

If your bathtub heater is no longer working we need the model number off the old heater in order to match up the replacement for you.

Not as easily done as you would expect. What is the Model number of the Control Box under the bathtub?
We need to know that before we can match up the sensor for you.

This sounds as if the low water sensor may not be working. They are designed to know when the tub has water in it and then the motor will start.
What is the model number of the control box under the tub that the pump plugs into?
If we can figure out the control then we can find a solution for you.

first of all check the circuit breakers to be sure one or both aren't kicked. be sure to turn the breaker all the way off and then fully on, if that doesn't fix your problem, then remove the access panel to the mechanical space in your tub and there are one or two reset buttons in there which can trip and need to be reset.

Finally resolved this on our own tub. We had C01 and E06 error alternating. After gaining access to the service door for the tub, I was able to determine that the ribbon cable for the water detector going to the electronics box on the back of the pump had become loose. After plugging it back in and then powering off/on the pump, the blinking light on the back of the pump went back to solid and the error on the control panel eliminated.

Try to downlaod the manual from the maax website. Hopefully you can find the model #. Look around in the pump acess area for it. If you cant find it try to match it up with a current model image from the website or do an online image search. All major companies offer there liteture available online somewhere, maybe under a seperate tab, on the product page.
If this does't help you should post again and be more specific i.e. what can't you get to work? Tubs these days have many different feaatures. Also model # and estimate what year it may be.
