The "Cable receiving coupler" looks like either a PCB or panel mount F-type coaxial connector (coax connector for short). It may be possible to remove the tuner ("cable receiving box") from the main board and replace the connector - it depends on how much damage was done to the tuner. If the circuit board is broken and components torn apart, it is probably better to replace the tuner or the entire board assembly.
I have successfully patched torn or blown foil traces around the coax connector - the key is to make sure any copper foil tape or wire used for patching matches the original shape of the printed circuit traces as closely as possible. Avoid distorting any wire coils mounted on the tuner circuit board, and observe electrostatic discharge precautions to make sure you don't blow out the glass gates inside the tuner's transistors (at a minimum keep one hand in contact with the metal side walls of the tuner while you work on it). If you have a crack in the board material, glue it back together with clear (not metal-filled) epoxy and let it cure before doing any other repairs.
If the connector is broken, contact the sales department at MCM Electronics. It's hard to tell for sure without opening the tuner, but the connector I saw in a picture of the board (costs more than the one on eBay) looks identical to the one used in many RCA tuners. (The RCA part has a flange for soldering to the tuner shield and a single pin extending down to the tuner board.) Most PCB mount coax connectors have a four-pin box-shaped shielding base around the center pin.
In short, repairing the tuner may be an option to replacement.
The best price I've found for the main board is $98.95 at Shop Jimmy (180 day warranty). I could not locate a separate tuner.
Hi:
If you are referring to the coax cable connection on the back of the television, this can usually be resoldered back on the tuner. Just take the back of the tv off and remove the main board that the tuner is mounted on. You can also purchase replacement coax connectors at your local electronics store. you will have to solder the center pin of the connector to the area where the old connectors broke off and then the outside of the connector which is the ground. If you are not familiar with soldering then replacing the main board is the next option. The Part number for your model# is,
Part # EAX42499101 , EBAY has one for sale for $138.00
Hello
The coupler is an integrated part of the cable recieving box. If it has broken, you can replace the cable receiving box only, and no need ot replace mother board as a whole. Just buy one cable recieving box of same part numbere and replace it. There is no special alingments for this unit, as it is well alaigned at factory. Only thing to do is to resolder out the damaged box and solder a new one in place. OK.

The cable coupler box inside the television has a label on it identifying the following information, part # EBL37678801/TDVF-H051F/904F1002, and is attached to a mother board with an information label on it with the following information, part # AGF55627102. The model of the television itself is 37LG30-UD. I am searching for assistance in identifying a vendor for the purchase of a cable coupler box in order to replace the minimum amount of parts to return my television back to working order.
Yes, the Television was mounted to the wall and when I moved the scissored mount to get it out of the way, the cable, along with the coupler, normally attached to the tv, broke off completely from the tv.
Techman007, My television is described incorrectly in the title of this thread. My television is an 37LG30-UD. The cable receiving coupler broke away from cable recieving box, the part # listed on the cable coupler box is EBL37678801. I currently need to decide to replace this part or the complete mother board, which has a label on it as well, part # AGF55627102. Both of these parts have the label affixed on them with the information above. Is the Part # EAX42499101 , EBAY has one for sale for $138.00 you identified a universal part?
Techman007. The subject line incorrectly identifies my product. I currently own a 37LG30-UD television. The part which broke has a label with the following information, part # EBL37678801. If I can not find this replacement part, I will need to replace the complete mother board, which is also labeled with the following information, part # AGF55627102.
However, you identified a different part #. The item you identified for sale on E-Bay for $138, is it a universal fit for this product?
ladywinn, many thanks. I did find the help I needed using Encompass Parts Distribution. It was determined that the cable input box was soldered to the mother board and not having those skills, the next best thing to do was to replace the motherboard at a cost of $144. The television repair shop locally wanted $120 just to look at it.:)
