Not all sounddrivers work on windows 7. But you can buy a sound card like creative sound blaster to add on the mainboard. Just make sure the driver supports windows 7
Hello First be sure you have downloaded and installed the correct sounddrivers.Meaning win 7 64 bit. Not to be confused with 32 bit.You need 64 bit.
Next go to control panel, sound.Click on speakers then configure.Choose quadrophonic or 5.1. Then run a test on each. Also go to properties.and be sure the levels are turned up. You may need to reboot after you do this for sound to work.
First download a small program called Unknown Device Identifyer Run on your laptop and click on the sound device hardward if there is one and Most of the drivers/software I get are from a web site driverguide.com you need
to fill out a free registration then search for the driver you need
download it in a format you can use install it and then most times
reboot the computer
i formted my pc.now i am in a very big problem.i lost my sounddrivers.so i want to download my sounddriver again.but i dont know sounddriver name.so i neeed your help
Go to the website of the sound CARD manufacturer and download the driver for the card you have. Just stating an Intel P4 with 40gb & 256 ram doesn't give any usefull information. It's like asking for spark plugs fur an american car with a 6 cylinder engine.
First try to check your speaker or headset cable if properly connected at the back.
Second then check your volume controll.
Third just check to your controll panel then choose sound and audio device.maybe it's mute.
Fourth is check your driver if theres a problem.where?go to my computer right click choose properties then choose hardware click device manager.
Lastly uninstall your sounddriver try to update again.by:danz
as i don't know what Operating system you are using i cant give you the direct download all you have to do is choose the appropriate OS download the correct driver for your system
