Need replacement earpads for Sony FM/AM Walkman SRF-H4 headset radio

Hi, folks....My radio is a few years old now, and the foam earpads have deteriorated. I've been searching around, so far without luck, in finding replacement pads.

The pads are oval-shaped, slightly narrower at the bottom than the top.

I'd surely appreciate it if you could guide me to a source for these earpads.

Thank you,

Roger

I need replacement ear pads for a Sony SRF HM33. I contacted Sony and they have been discontinued. Any advice on where I can purchase the ear pads??

Only one of the ear pads on my Sony Walkman model SRF-H3 has basically fallen apart, but I would be very happy to find a new set of two pads so I can continue using this fine headset AM/FM radio (it's perfect while riding my bike). Radio Shack has three sets available, but none of them work for my headset. And Sony sent me the wrong pads when I tried to order through them. Apparently they no longer stock ear pads for my Walkman. [email protected]

looks like www.partstore.com has them-not cheap-pads plus shipping is about what we paid for the walkman-good luck!

I have the same problem! I was afraid of that - replacements appear to be almost cost-prohibitive if you use common sense. They got us again!

I too am searching for the replacement ear cushion pads for the Sony Walkman SRF-H3 and have not had much luck. Has anyone come up with a resonable solution or contact for purchase without costing an arm and a leg? Sure would appreciate any leads out there!

LIKE YOU ALL, NO CURE OR REPLACEMENT FOR THE ROTTED PADS. WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND BOUGHT ECONOMY PLUS BRAND AIR CONDITIONER FILTER MATERIAL, ABOUT $3.00, FOR A WALL AC. THEN WENT TO DOLLAR GENERAL AND BOUGHT SCUNCI BRAND BLACK HAIR ELASTICS, EIGHT OF THEM FOR $2.00 TO KEEP PONYTAILS, NOW EAR PADS, IN PLACE. CUT THE AC MATERIAL TO FIT, AND ATTACHED WITH HAIR ELASTICS. ONLY A PURIST WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT LACK OF COLOR MATCH. THERE WAS A SOLUTION, ONLY A MATTER OF FINDING IT. GOOD LUCK ALL OF YOU. No more TV on Sony TV/weather/fm/am walkman srf-m37v.

There's nothing you can do. With the switch to digital broadcasting, the sound isn't on the same frequencies it used to be so this radio can't pick it up. Right now, nobody's offering a digital receiver for the sound. All your radio is good for now is the regular radio and weather broadcasts.
