"HTTP Error 403 Forbidden" indicates a server permission error. You need to allow either anon access to the IP camera. You can probably do this using a local PC connected to the SAME subnetted network that your IP Camera is on.

I do i get the default username and password for vivotek fd8134 camera

An IP camera is a video camera that can be viewed over a Local Area Network or the Internet. The camera typically is monitored locally from a computer via the network to which the camera is attached. With just a few additional configurations of your network, you can access the IP Network Camera so that it can be monitored remotely using the Internet. This is the benefit of a network camera, as it can reside on an IP network and the video stream can be accessed or saved remotely.

Get the Default Gateway of your IP. step 2 Do this by entering "ipconfig/all" in your Command Prompt and hitting "Enter" on your keyboard. Your IP information will be brought up, and number you are looking for is the Default Gateway. This is underneath the IP address. Identify this number by its number pattern, which will look like the following: 111.222.3.4. Access your router. This is done by simply typing the default gateway from Step 1 above into the address bar of your Internet browser, and pressing "Enter." Forward your port by configuring your camera. Open the configuration section on the router web page where port forwarding is located by clicking on the "Applications & Gaming" link along the top of the page. In this menu, click on "Port Range Forwarding." Configuration sections can be located differently with each kind of router. Find this information by referring to the documentation that came with your router when you purchased it. Access your camera over the Internet. To do this, type your public IP address into the address bar of the web browser and press "Enter" in the same way as described in Step 2 when entering your default gateway. Note: The public IP address is different from your regular IP address. The regular IP address identifies computers and other devices on your network, whereas your public IP address is what is used to make yours lf known to others on the Internet. Your Internet service provider can supply you with your public IP address if you call them and ask for it. Hope it helps.

Can not access the 192.168.1.2 ip

Hey achek76,

I would assume you are trying to reach for router configuration page via your internet browser.

The first step I would take it to confirm this is indeed the correct address for such a page. In order to do this follow these steps:

  • Start >
  • Accessories >
  • Command Prompt or CMD
Once opened you should have what looks like a black box that you can write text in. Write in the following command:
  • ipconfig
Once this command is wrote you should get output that looks like this, along with some others but we are only worried about one and that's the default gateway which I have made bold. This will be the address required to reach your router configuration via your internet browser. (Ignore the address you see here as they are mine and are no use to you.)

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 172.16.121.51
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.254.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 172.16.120.1

If you confirm you are using the correct browser I would then proceed with resetting your router via the small pin hole located on the back, this will restore it to factory defaults and maybe clear up any problems the router is experiencing.

Once reset run the command I mentioned above and check your default gateway again and type that IP into your browser to access your router configuration.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for using fixya!

Error 61:01 wrong file format. The printer cannot process the job.

Error 999 is a sign that Yahoo's defense is in effect.

"This error appears to be a "catch-all" error code that Yahoo serves up when it doesn't have a more specific error code. It essentially means "Oops! Something went wrong but we don't know what, so we'll just say that Error 999 occurred." The most common reason for receiving Yahoo Error 999 is due to some sort of bandwidth limiting system that Yahoo has put in place on their servers. Once you have exceeded your allotted bandwidth for a specific period of time Yahoo gives you this Error 999 message and doesn't allow you to access the service. People have primarily reported receiving this error when they try to access Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Groups, but other Yahoo services may also be affected.
Why has Yahoo done this? There are two reasons that I can think of:
  1. To prevent DoS (Denial of Service) attacks.
  2. To stop automated tasks from hammering their servers with hundreds of requests a second.
There are many programs around that offer to automate access to various Yahoo services, i.e. check your Yahoo mailbox every 5 minutes, archive Yahoo Groups messages, download files from the Yahoo Groups Photos and Files sections, etc. If you use one of these automated tools then there is a very real possibility that you will run into the Error 999 message. Normal human usage of the Yahoo services shouldn't normally generate enough traffic to trigger the Error 999 message unless you're a very heavy user.
It appears that Yahoo uses your IP address to track the amount of traffic you're generating on Yahoo, and once you reach the limit you get blocked by the Unable to process request at this time -- error 999 message. Once triggered you will find that your IP address has been blocked for a period of time, somewhere between 2 and 24 hours usually
Resolution Steps:Clear your browser's cookies and cache (temporary files).
2.Log into Yahoo through a different country's server. I.e. if you usually log into Yahoo via http://login.yahoo.com/ then try http://login.korea.yahoo.com/ or http://login.europe.yahoo.com/.
If you use a proxy server then try turning it off. Good. Because Yahoo appears to be using your IP address to track your traffic usage, switching off your proxy (or bypassing your ISP's proxy server and accessing the web directly) will result in you accessing Yahoo via a different IP address (i.e. you will be accessing Yahoo via your real IP address and not via the proxy server's IP address). Thus Yahoo will think you're a different person because you're using a different IP address. If you're using a dial-up modem or some other access method that results in you using a dynamic IP address, try disconnecting from the Internet and waiting a few minutes and then reconnecting.

Use a different browser,if you have a web accelerator turn it off
hope this helps

I have a zyxel p66ohw router connected to my pc via an ethernet card, everything is fine untill my son logs on with his playstation 3, or my wife logs on with her laptop then i cant connect everytime i try...

Make sure that your TCP/IP properties are set to "Obtain an IP address automatically". If you still cannot connect after you change that, and after waiting for a couple of minutes, then open a command prompt and type "IPCONFIG". Make a note of the address at "Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :" That's the address you need to go to to access the modem's settings..You'll need an ID and password. These would be in the modem's manual.
---to find tcp/ip properties---
It depends from PC to PC, but, try this:
Start (Bottom left of your screen)
Settings
Network Connections
Local Area Connection
Properties
Internet Protocol TCP/IP
Properties

That's how it is on my PC.
